LESSON THREE HUNDRED FIFTY-ONE

L e s s o n  351

My sinless brother is my guide to peace.

This is quite simple for You to understand. Accepting it is quite a different story.

My sinful brother is my guide to pain.

Does this seem unfair to You? That You must need forgive Him? It is unfairer still to see Him sinful.

And which I choose to see I will behold. Choice is always Mine.

 

¹ Who is my brother but Your holy Son? You Love Him just as much as You Love Me. And if I see him sinful, I proclaim myself a sinner, – if He is a sinner, so am I for He and I are One – not a Son of God, alone and friendless in a fearful world. Yet this perception is a choice I make and can relinquish. Although it seems impossible to do. I can also see my brother sinless as Your holy Son. And with this choice I see my sinlessness, my everlasting Comforter and Friend beside me, and my way secure and clear. If He is holy, I am holy too. Choose, then, for me, my Father, through Your Voice, the Holy Spirit, exemplified in Your belovèd Son. For He alone gives judgment in Your Name. And what is His judgment but “very good.”_{1
