I am not asked to make a sacrifice to find the mercy and the peace of God.

Why not?  Because they are freely given.  Therefore, all that’s needed is My receptivity; i.e. desire for them.

What do I really want from life, that is the burning question.  Romance, money, control, and fun, the things humans desire?  Yet why do I see so much suffering? Is this what life is all about, or is there something that is a whole lot greater?

Yes, there is dear Sisters and dear Brothers.  A whole new sense of Life and Love awaits Your choosing for it!

¹ The end of suffering cannot be loss. For losing something which You don’t want can only be a plus! (Sing hallelujah!) The gift of everything can but be gain.  How much Your Father-Mother God loves You!  You will recall how much You are cherished, and when You do, Your heart will fill with Love.  You will sing to God: You only give. You never take away. And You created me to be like You, so sacrifice becomes impossible for me as well as You. I too must give, and so all things are given unto me forever and forever. (I’m remembering!) As I was created, I remain. Your Son can make no sacrifice, for he must be complete, having the function of completing You. – In other words, I’ve not lost anything, despite the seeming. –I am complete because I am Your Son. Truth cannot be changed; it is Eternal, and that is the Truth. I cannot lose, for I can only give.  The good I give also remains with Me. And everything is mine eternally.

² The mercy – such loving kindness! – and the peace of God are free.  And both of them are Me, as well as He. Salvation has no cost.  What is salvation but Life, Truth, and Love.  They are what You are, and they are Yours the blessèd instant You are willing to receive them; since they always have been Yours, and wait patiently for Your glad acceptance. It is a gift that must be freely given and received, and it is this that we would learn today. God’s Gifts are forever, and so is Your reception of them.

That’s the good news, and – as Reality – news is always good!

What is a Miracle?

What is a miracle but having the experience of Heaven while still having the unconsciousness of so-called ‘earth’.

¹ A miracle is a correction.  It is personal as it is a shift in Your perception, that does bless the world for all minds are joined. It does not create nor really change at all. It merely looks on devastation, and reminds the mind that what it sees is false. Which then becomes the mind’s experience, right along with its glad astonishment. It undoes error, but does not attempt to go beyond perception nor exceed the function of forgiveness. Thus it stays within time’s limits.  Which keeps it quite experienceable. Yet it paves the way for the return of timelessness and love’s awakening, for fear must slip away under the gentle remedy it gives.  Fear is Your jail and jailer in the world.  Yet it cannot withstand God’s gentle Love.

² A miracle contains the gift of grace, for it is given and received as one. Perhaps You think the  Gift is quite one-sided, simply from Divinity to You, a special dispensation?  It isn’t.  You have been willing  And thus it illustrates the law of truth the world does not obey because it fails entirely to understand its ways.  The world cannot understand that giving and receiving are the same since it deals in things.  Reality knows all is thought.  A miracle inverts perception which was upside-down before, – as if You’d walked through the looking-glass without realizing it, and now You have – and thus it ends the strange distortions that were manifest.  So much seemed evil, overwhelming You. Something was wrong, yet how would You fix it, not knowing what the problem really was?  Now is perception open to the truth.  What relief it is!  Now is forgiveness seen as justified.  Who wouldn’t want to Love Your Brother now that You’re remembering Reality!  How perfect, pure and sinless does S/He seem; how eminently lovable S/He is!

³ Forgiveness is the home of miracles. The giving heart is universal as well as eternal. The eyes of Christ – You may have them too as You are willing – deliver them to all they look upon in mercy and in love. Perception stands corrected in His sight, – right next to Vision – and what was meant to curse has come to bless. For that which was upside-down must now come right side up again. Each lily of forgiveness offers all the world the silent miracle of love.  Love’s fragrance filling broken hearts with peaceful joy and healing; Its touch so  gentle.  And each is laid before the Word of God upon the universal altar to Creator and creation, in the light of perfect purity and endless joy.

Each acolyte of God  arises healed, as S/He but gladly follows Me along the straight and narrow.  Seeming loss is turned to gifts that were before not even heard of.  Experience is now a consistent Holy Instant.

⁴ The miracle is taken first on faith because to ask for it implies the mind has been made ready to conceive of what it cannot see and does not understand. Hope sweetly becomes happy confidence as Your faith deepens into constancy.  Doubt fights to arise. Yet faith will bring its witnesses to show that what it rested on is really there.  Confidence is sure,, and very peaceful.  And thus the miracle will justify your faith in it and show it rested on a world more real than what you saw before-a world redeemed from what you thought you saw.  Reality appears, seemingly from nowhere; and God is seen to be now here.

⁵ Miracles fall like drops of healing rain from Heaven on a dry and dusty world, where starved and thirsty creatures came to die.  These words of comfort are healing balm. Remember the Psalm: “I’ve longed for Thee as a dry and thirsty land, where no water is.”₁ Now they have water. Now the world is green.  Parched lives become both lush and peaceful.  Happiness pervades like a river washing out all misery.  And everywhere the signs of life spring up to show that what is born can never die, for what has life has immortality.

This is God’s Promise.  It also is fact.
