LESSON THREE HUNDRED THIRTY FIVE

The Guidance is in normal type In His Guidance, He has asked Me to capitalize the pronouns You and We as an acknowledgement of the Divinity of All of Us, an acknowledgement of Equality, an expression of His Love and respect for You. L e s s o n  335

Today I choose to see my brother’s sinlessness.

 Why wouldn’t I, for it is Mine as well. For what is “sinlessness” but Holiness; Mine as well as His.  And if I refuse His Holiness, I refuse My own as well. For I and My Brother are both a part of Holy One. Thus must We see that We’re All in this together; so, therefore, What blesses Me blesses All My Brothers.

1 Forgiveness is a choice.  Just as was My being here for giving, or else for getting. I never see my brother as he is, for that is far beyond perception.  Still, I’m knowing– that is, if I wished to make that choice – that My Brother is quite beyond what I choose to see of Him or Her. For the Truth always is available, if We allow It.

What I see in him is merely what I wish to see because it stands for what I want to be the truth.  That He is a miserable sinner, far worse than I am. This serves My purpose.  It is to this alone that I respond, – pure insanity! – however much I seem to be impelled by outside happenings.  They are nothing but distractions to ‘My’ willful ‘consciousness’.  (More like unconscious!) –

I choose to see what I would look upon, – to justify Myself, I see My Brother as a ‘sinner’; thus am I holy – and this I see and only this.  I know that I need to make a effort to see Him Holy, growing from My own desire to right the great wrong of separation. My brother’s sinlessness shows me that I would look upon my own. And I will see it, having chosen to behold my brother in its holy light.  Thus am I, too, illumined by His Light..

2 What could restore Your memory to me except to see my brother’s sinlessness?   For He but presences My Holiness.  His holiness reminds me that he was created one with me and like myself. In him I find my Self, and in Your Son I find the memory of You as well.  And then comes the best of All: joyous reUnion with My Self, my Divinity.
