L e s s o n  101

God’s Will for me is perfect happiness.

How wonderful Our God! He’s terrific!. How absolutely beautiful and how very kind Our Source. I am so grateful.

1 Today we will continue with the theme of happiness. This is a key idea in understanding what salvation means.

Old theology has made it heavy, when its real meaning is happy freedom. Can You accept that?

You still believe it asks for suffering as penance for your “sins.” This is not so.

Believing You’re a “sinner”, does not make it Reality. You simply aren’t.

Yet you must think it so while you believe that sin is real and that God’s Son can sin.

It is a dream You are believing. It’s not Reality. It never was, and it never will be.

If sin is real, then punishment is just and cannot be escaped. Salvation thus cannot be purchased but through suffering.

Good thing that sin is not Reality! Who wants to suffer?

Only the Dreamers must so desire, for They deny Reality to live in painful dreams that aren’t ever real.

2 If sin is real then happiness must be illusion, for they cannot both be true.

What hell the dream created where, before there was a dream, all was always Heaven. The more that You believe the lie, the realer does it seem, and the worse it’s getting.

The sinful warrant only death and pain, and it is this they ask for, for they know it waits for them and it will seek them out and find them somewhere, sometime, in some form which evens the account they owe to God.

This insane belief, fostered and fed by the old theology, hangs over You like a guillotine.

They would escape Him in their fear. And yet He will pursue, and they cannot escape.

God who loves You – and has only Good for You – has in Your twisted mind become the devil to be feared.
Pure insanity reigns over Dreamers.

3 If sin is real, salvation must be pain. Pain is the cost of sin, and suffering can never be escaped if sin is real.

So You strangely believe, lacking any basis for this peculiar opinion You have of God.

Salvation must be feared, for it will kill but slowly, taking everything away before it grants the welcome boon of death to victims who are little more than bones before salvation is appeased.

This kind of thinking is but a cancer of One’s consciousness, an attack on mind, leading it to long for ‘death’, which has become its ‘saviour’.

Its wrath is boundless, merciless, but wholly just.

You surely have forgotten God is Love. So I’ve come again to remind You of the Truth and how much You are loved by the gentle Omnipotence which We call God. Our eternal Source for truly We each come forth from Him directly and forever, no intermediaries needed, despite Your myths of endless ‘births’ and ‘deaths’. Myths are just that, and not Reality.
The dream is not the way it really is. For Your Life – Your Individuality – comes straight from God. An eternal, holy Fountain, this coming is forever! Let Your intention be Awakening, instead of dying. Save Your loved Ones and the world all that grief. Surprise every One!

Give up being ‘born’; don’t ‘die’: Awaken!

4 Who would seek out such savage punishment?

None of this makes sense! Why blindly believe such arrant nonsense!

Who would not flee salvation and attempt in every way he can to drown the Voice Which offers it to him? Why would he try to listen and accept Its offering?

Wouldn’t He run for the hills if He had any sense at all!

If sin is real, its offering is death and meted out in cruel form to match the vicious wishes in which sin is born. If sin is real, salvation has become your bitter enemy, the curse of God upon you who have crucified His Son.

It’s hard enough to read this, much less actually believe it!

What this Lesson offers You is freedom from these strange beliefs of insane dreaming. Will You accept it? It’s freely given from My Love for You; My heart’s desire to give You freedom. For this I came back into the dream 2000 years ago, and I’ll stay until We All Awaken.

5 You need the practice periods today.

They are important. Practice strengthens You; for ego strongly does resist the Truth.

The exercises teach sin is not real, and all that you believe must come from sin will never happen, for it has no cause.

The Good is all that can ever be real. Stay with that Truth, and fear will disappear.

Accept Atonement with an open mind which cherishes no lingering belief that you have made a devil of God’s Son.

You are not a devil, nor is Your evil-seeming Brother. All this is illusion. Seems to be, and it really isn’t.

Therefore, ego’s viewpoint is completely unreliable. You can ignore it. Instead, put Your trust in Holy Spirit.

6 There is no sin. We practice with this thought as often as we can today because it is the basis for today’s idea.

There is no sin, for what I think I see has absolutely no reality. I am deluded! I think dreams are real. This thinking blocks Reality from Me. Yet I will to see.

God’s Will for you is perfect happiness because there is no sin, and suffering is causeless. Joy is just, and pain is but the sign you have misunderstood yourself.

“Misunderstood” is being very kind. This kind of seeing is deliberate and willful, and an attack on God, not to be punished but to be corrected.

7 Fear not the Will of God.

For God does Love You, and He is so kind.

But turn to it in confidence that it will set you free from all the consequences sin has wrought in feverish imagination

leading to strange dreams.

Say:
8 God’s Will for me is perfect happiness.
There is no sin; it has no consequence.

Since it isn’t real.

9 So should you start your practice periods, and then attempt again to find the joy these thoughts will introduce into your mind.

You are not defiled as You have thought, for You are really pure and good and holy.

Give these five minutes gladly to remove the heavy load you laid upon yourself with the insane belief that sin is real.

Take these five minutes to slip into Reality and get relief from dreaming.
10 Today escape from madness. You are set on freedom’s road,

– all the lights are green! –

and now today’s idea brings wings to speed you on and hope to go still faster to the waiting goal of peace.

It’s right at hand, awaiting Your acceptance.

There is no sin.

You are pure and clean and free from the dream.

Remember this today, and tell yourself as often as you can:
11 God’s Will for me is perfect happiness.
This is the truth because there is no sin.

It’s all been a dream from which I can Awaken as I choose.
