1 These ideas are for review today:

And they are capable of the most wonderful of healings.

[71] Only God’s plan for salvation will work.

All human – a.k.a. the ego’s – ways are simply useless.
And because of this:

2 It is senseless for me to search wildly about for salvation. When it is to be found within My mind. I have seen it in many people and in many things, but when I reached for it, it was not there. I was mistaken about where it is. Yet I kept reaching. I was mistaken about what it is. Yet I was so very sure that I could find it on my own, even not knowing. I will undertake no more idle seeking. For it has been fruitless, a waste of seemingly endless time. Only God’s plan for salvation will work. And I will rejoice because His plan can never fail. The fruit it bears is Divine and lovely, leaving Us quite replete with happiness.

3 These are some suggested forms for applying this idea specifically:”

4 God’s plan for salvation will save me from my perception of this. Not only need I not be angry, but I can Love in this hard situation. I can and I will!
This is no exception in God’s plan for my salvation. His Love turns weeping into joyous peace, and it has done so for millennia. He is the only Healer, Our Divine Nurse and Physician.
Let me perceive this only in the light of God’s plan for salvation. I can bring each situation and lay it at His feet and then follow his direction if need be.

[72] Holding grievances is an attack on God’s plan for salvation.

We always come back to this: even allowing slight annoyance is a grievance. What is there to do! Learn Love and patience.

5 Holding grievances is an attempt to prove that God’s plan for salvation will not work. For criticism of Your Brother is an attack on God. You think it saves You. Yet only His plan will work. By holding grievances, I am therefore excluding my only hope of salvation from my awareness. I would no longer defeat my own best interests in this insane way. Up comes the question, again and again: Will I be ‘right’ or will I be happy? I would accept God’s plan for salvation and be happy.

6 Specific applications of this idea might be in these forms:

7 I am choosing between misperception and salvation as I look on this. And this choice is extremely important.
If I see grounds for grievances in this I will not see the grounds for my salvation. Another golden opportunity will be passed on by. This calls for salvation, not attack. When I choose to Love My Brother, I am saving Him as well. My judgment weighs heavily upon Him, for Our minds are joined.

So it is not just I, but He, too, who is then blessed by My choice for salvation.
