LESSON SIXTY THREE

Lesson 63

The light of the world brings peace to every mind through my forgiveness.

For peace is both cause and result of Divine Illumination. Peace flows from the sweet willingness to eschew judging, which then brings forgiveness. Thus We walk Love’s way in an endless day. “There is no night there.”₁

¹ How holy are you who have the power to bring peace to every mind! This power comes from willingness to Love instead of judging. How blessed are you who can learn to recognize the means for letting this be done through you! Although temptation to judge can seem so compelling, let’s let Love be omnipotent today instead. What purpose could you have that would bring you greater happiness? Surely being ‘right’ can’t compare with Love. I know You’re willing! Let that willingness become certainty; accept Your function!

² You are indeed the light of the world with such a function. Each and every One of You calls out for God though You hear it not. The Son of God looks to you for his redemption. The Son of God within and without You. In other words, both You and Your Others. It is yours to give him, for it belongs to you. Both of You is how it appears to be, while You still seem to be the Son of God hidden by – or wrestling with – the ego. Accept no trivial purpose or meaningless desire – thrown up by ego: new spouse, financial acquisition, accumulating things – in its place, – or you will forget your function and leave the Son of God in hell. (In case You haven’t noticed where You are!) This is no idle request that is being asked of you. You are asked to accept salvation that it may be yours to give. Would You not will to give salvation to Your sleeping Brothers?  Then first You must realize You’re dreaming. Then, wish to waken. ³ Recognizing the importance of this function, we will be happy to remember it very often today. I’m here not just to bless Myself but also all My Brothers. Let Me remember what My function is for this is crucial to the happiness of the Son of God, for S/He must waken. We will begin the day by acknowledging it and close the day with the thought of it in our awareness. And throughout the day, we will repeat this as often as we can:

⁴ The light of the world brings peace to every
mind through my forgiveness. One on the side of God is a majority, and can change the world, as I did. Each One of You can be a Saviour to all Your Brothers. This is God’s doing; all You need to do is to be willing.  I am the means God has appointed for the salvation of the world. Each and every One of You is chosen to be Saviour. You need but accept. I’ll keep saying this until You say yes!

⁵ You will probably find it easier to let the related thoughts come to you in the minute or two which you should devote to considering this if you can close your eyes. Do not, however, wait for such an opportunity. No chance should be lost for reinforcing today’s idea. Let Your mantra be: I but live to bless. This is the antithesis of the m.o.₂ of the ego; ego is not You.

⁶ Remember that God’s Son looks to you for his salvation. And who but your Self must be His Son? This is the prayer You may know for Your Self and for every One.
