LESSON FIFTY NINE

Workbook PART I ~ Review I

Lesson 41 – Lesson 45

¹ The following ideas are for review today:

[41] God goes with me wherever I go.  Again do We expand this, bringing it to the Reality of Our relationship with God; the fact: God goes as Me wherever I go.

² How can I be alone when God always goes with me?  How can I be alone with God as My eternal Partner.  And there can be no separation because He is My Source. How can I be doubtful and unsure of myself when perfect certainty abides in Him?  Therefore, this equilibrium must also abide as Me. How can I be disturbed by anything when He rests in me in absolute peace? Is God not My Mind? He surely is, and I have no other. There is but One Mind. How can I suffer when love and joy surround me through Him? Could there be part of Me apart from Love or joy. There could not! Let me not cherish illusions about myself. I am perfect because God goes with me wherever I go. Perfect is pure fact; therefore I am as eternal as My Holy Source, and so are All My Brothers.

[42] God is my strength. And He does sustain Me eternally. Vision is His gift. The ability to see – to understand all things as He.

³ Let me not look to my own eyes to see today.  Why would I do things alone, when I have a Loving Partner? Let me be willing to exchange my pitiful illusion of seeing for the vision that is given by God. His lovely View of His Reality, which is Mine as well. Christ’s vision is His gift, and He has given it to me. It truly is a Gift to see as He. Let me call upon this gift today, so that this day may help me to understand eternity. Thus freeing Me from the limits of sin and disease and death, revealing Our joyous Life Eternal.

[43] God is my Source. I cannot see apart from Him.  Ego dreams are far apart from Vision, being quite untrue.

⁴ I can see what God wants me to see. And very gladly.  His View is joyous! I cannot see anything else. Nor do I want to! Beyond His Will lie only illusions. It is these I choose when I think I can see apart from Him. It is these I choose when I try to see through the body’s eyes. I’ve done this so long, and it is bondage. I long for freedom, which I had ignored when choosing to dream. Yet the vision of Christ has been given me to replace them.  What a precious Gift, for it is freedom. It is through this vision that I choose to see. And so gratefully. I didn’t know just how much I’ve hungered for Reality till I tasted it. Nothing else could ever satisfy Me.

[44] God is the Light in which I see. For He is the only Reality. God is Light Itself. As the Bible says: “In Him is no darkness at all.”₁

⁵ I cannot see in darkness. Though I thought I could, I was mistaken. God is the only Light. And Reality is the only sight! Therefore if I am to see, it must be through Him. Through the eyes of Love. For willingly, I let Love see for Me. For I am quite blind without Love’s Vision.  I have tried to define what seeing is, and I have been wrong. All I was seeing was My own thinking. This is the premise of the healing given here, which unfolds for You Love’s Vision. Now it is given me to understand that God is the Light in which I see. I’m either seeing God or the ego. Let Us take that a little further for it means that either God is My Interpreter of what I see, or it is the ego by default. Let me welcome vision and the happy world it will show me. One Reality; and two vastly different ways to see It. Which one will it be? Why not choose and take the road less traveled? It will, indeed, make “all the difference”.₂

[45] God is the Mind with which I think. If My thoughts are not from God, nothing is really going on but a delusion. (Even though it’s in 3-D and technicolor.)

⁶ I have no thoughts I do not share with God. I have no thoughts apart from Him because I have no mind apart from His.  Hypnosis by the ego doesn’t count as thinking. Wake up from Your trance Dreamers! As part of His Mind, my thoughts are His and His Thoughts are mine. Here I do speak but of Reality, and not of dreaming. ‘Hell’ is dreaming and Heaven is the Real. You’re free to choose for either. Guess which choice is sane and happy?

THE ROAD NOT TAKEN

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim
Because it was grassy and wanted wear,
Though as for that the passing there
