Epilogue

What else could come after Reality but more Reality, and then some more, ad infinitum!

¹ This course is a beginning, not an end. Your journey without distance Home is now obvious to You.  At any instant now it can be consummated, for it rests on the level of Your willingness. This joy awaits You, as You accept it. Your Friend goes with you.  Have I not promised that I will never leave nor forsake You?  I am here right now, and every instant! You are not alone. I hold open the door to God and to the Holy Spirit. No one who calls on Him can call in vain.  He’s ever-present. Whatever troubles you, God would have it healed; be certain that He has the answer and will gladly give it to you if you simply turn to Him and ask it of Him. It is that simple! He will not withhold all answers that you need for anything that seems to trouble you.  Remember You are His belovèd One. He knows the way to solve all problems and resolve all doubts. His certainty is yours. You need but ask it of Him, and it will be given you.  Who could be loved more than You, every One of You!

² You are as certain of arriving home as is the pathway of the sun laid down before it rises, after it has set, and in the half-lit hours in between. The sun is so consistent.  To You it seems to wax and wane, yet that is but Your perception.  As Reality it always shines, as do the rays which show forth light. Indeed, your pathway is more certain still, for it can not be possible to change the course of those whom God has called to Him. What has been called “Creation” – is really Revelation – and is in perfect order, including You. Therefore, obey your will and follow Him Whom you accepted as your Voice, to speak of what you really want and really need. No, it’s not more money, nor is it sickness healed, or a brand new relationship. His is the Voice for God, and also yours. And thus He speaks of freedom and of truth. Everything You think You lack is solved by coming Home, where Your “cup runneth over”₁.

³ No more specific lessons are assigned, for there is no more need of them. You already know what You need to know. Henceforth, hear but the Voice for God and for your Self – the Holy Spirit, Your Divine Be-ing – when you retire from the world, to seek Reality instead. – You are in the world, yet not of it; Your goal is different now. You are no longer doing this alone. – He will direct your efforts, telling you exactly what to do, how to direct your mind, and when to come to Him in silence, asking for His sure direction and His certain Word. Actually He’s present for You every nano-second and more frequently than that!  Of this, be sure.

Loneliness is gone; You have such a wonderful Companion! His is the Word that God has given you. His is the Word you chose to be your own.  His Word now is Yours, with understanding!

⁴ And now I place you in His hands, to be His faithful followers, with Him as Guide through every difficulty and all pain that you may think is real. We All do walk together on this happy journey Homeward. Recall the welcome of the Prodigal.₂  Know that that same Love is happily awaiting Your return. Nor will He give you pleasures that will pass away, for He gives only the eternal and the good. His Gifts, amazing! Look forward to Joy! Let Him prepare you further. He loves You so much! He has earned your trust by speaking daily to you of your Father and your brother and your Self. You have felt the Love of this most blessèd holy communion. It is like no other, elevating Love to higher realms and much greater joys. He will continue; now you walk with Him – Your boon Companion; loneliness has become impossible – as certain as is He of where you go; as sure as He of how you should proceed, as confident as He is of the goal and of your safe arrival in the end. Actually He’s present for You every nano-second and more frequently than that!  Of this, be sure.

⁵ The end is certain and the means as well. It is a living sense of Heaven, the mental way to it. While the way is, indeed, “strait and narrow”₃ It leads to a marvelous sense of Life. Would You not follow it, along with with Me? To this we say “Amen.” To refuse is but sure insanity. We will be told exactly what God wills for us each time there is a choice to make. This actually is quite relaxing. And He will speak for God and for your Self, thus making sure that hell will claim you not and that each choice you make brings Heaven nearer to your reach. Unfolding Heaven present where You are: i.e. the “journey without distance”. And so we walk with Him from this time on and turn to Him for guidance and for peace and right direction.  And, again I say: How nice to have such a boon companion! Joy attends our way. As all its flowers are fragrant and lovely, so life becomes so lovely as well. For we go homeward to an open door which God has held unclosed to welcome us.  Never was it latched, even though to Your blinded eyes it seemed to You to be shut. You have been free to enter if You wished.

The only problem was that You were disinclined to do so. Now You are inclined in God’s direction!

⁶ We trust our ways to Him and say “Amen.” This trust is eminently relaxing. In peace we will continue in His way and trust all things to Him. How nice it is to release the burden of control. In confidence we wait His answers, as we ask His will in everything we do. Indeed! Everything! He loves God’s Son as we would love him, – if We were willing; let Us be so now! – and He teaches us how to behold him through His eyes and love him as He does. Would that I did! Dear God, please do Guide Me. You do not walk alone. Of that I am sure, Your Love must be here, now, ever-present. God’s angels hover close and all about. His Love surrounds you, and of this be sure: that I will never leave you comfortless.

For I am the Comforter; be comforted; “goodness and mercy (lovingkindness)₁” are Yours forever.

¹ The Twenty-third Psalm

The Lord is my Shepherd. I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures. He leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my Soul.  He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His Name’s sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I shall fear no evil, for Thou are with me.  Thy rod and thy staff, they comforteth me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies.  Thou anointeth my head with oil. My cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

² Brother is referring to His parable of the Prodigal Son in the Gospel of Luke, chapter 15.  Upon the Son’s humble return, the Father insists that He have the robe, ring, and sandals that were awaiting His (the Prodigal Son’s) return.  The Son feels He deserves but “ashes” while the Father gives Him beauty. Isaiah 61:3

“To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.”
