LESSON THREE HUNDRED SEVENTEEN

I follow in the way appointed me.

I don’t know how I know, and yet, I do: each One of Your Sons is crucial to You, belovèd Father.  And of them, I’m One,  happily awaiting Your direction.

More and more, My desire grows to follow where You lead, instead of My own way..

¹ I have a special place to fill-a role for me alone.  As do all My Others, for each and every one of Us is precious unto God.  I must make the choice to listen for Your Voice and then follow. Salvation waits until I take this part as what I choose to do. I have been preoccupied with the world, mesmerized by its ongoing drama,  deep into the dream and all its fascinating misery. It’s so hypnotic! Until I make this choice, I am the slave of time and human destiny.  As I have been for so many eons. I’ve dragged My heels, reluctant to make the shift from My dreaming to Awakening. But when I willingly and gladly go the way my Father’s plan appointed me to go, – I could do it now if I were willing – then will I recognize salvation is already here, already given all my brothers and already mine as well.  All it takes is One to just be willing … completely willing.

² Father, Your way is what I choose today.  Being in so-called ‘control’ sure hasn’t ever worked for me.Where it would lead me, do I choose to go; what it would have me do, I choose to do. What do I know on My own. Your way is certain and the end secure.  From eon to eon, You’re still the same. Quite unlike the insane instability of the ego. The memory of You awaits me there, – here, and everywhere* – and all my sorrows end in Your embrace, which You have promised to Your Son, who thought mistakenly that he had wandered from the sure protection of Your loving arms.  You’re ever here and available to Me, no matter where I might seem to be, “where can I flee from Thee”?.
