LESSON TWO HUNDRED FIFTY-FIVE

This day I choose to spend in perfect peace.

How glorious these sweet words sound to Me! “Perfect peace”₁: no worry, no stress and no fear. Can this be so? Yes it can, Sister. This peace stands present, as it but awaits Your glad acceptance.

¹ It does not seem to me that I can choose to have but peace today. The world screams loudly for My participation in its fear, and I’ve accepted. And yet my God assures me that His Son is like Himself. (Nothing like the world!) Let me this day have faith in Him Who says I am God’s Son. Let Me accept Truth today, replacing all the ego’s lies. And let the peace I choose be mine today bear witness to the truth of what He says; blessing My Brothers. God’s Son can have no cares – God loves Me dearly – and must remain forever in the peace of Heaven, even as I toss and turn in ego-invented nightmares. In his name – as Christ I remain – I give today to finding what my Father wills for me, – quieting My babbling mind and listening for God instead – accepting it as mine and giving it to all my Father’s Sons, along with me. For One We are, inextricably! Woven seamless garment is God’s Sense of Life. The robe of Jesus.

² And so, my Father, would I pass this day with You. My joy will be full and running over! For I dwell in and as Your Consciousness, now and forever.₂ Your Son has not forgotten You. I know that You forgive Me for I just got distracted and fell into the dream and could not get out. Yet Christ but speaking as the Holy Spirit has wakened Me. And I remember! The peace You gave him still is in his mind, – Mind of Christ I am, and not a body! – and it is there I choose to spend today. For Thy Word is settled in Heaven.₃ And what else could be Heaven but Be-ing Christ.

² Here Brother is referencing one of His Bible favorites: the Twenty-third Psalm, which He is right now saying was His thought while feeding the multitudes: that there is no dearth in the “house of the Lord” where We all “dwell … forever”.
