LESSON TWO HUNDRED FORTY-TWO

The Guidance is in normal type In His Guidance, He has asked Me to capitalize the pronouns You and We as an acknowledgement of the Divinity of All of Us, an acknowledgement of Equality, an expression of His Love and respect for You. When You see the word ‘YOU’ capitalized in the Guidance, know that He is not just speaking to YOU, He is honoring YOU.

This day is God’s. It is my gift to Him.

This is the least that I can do each day in thanks for His Eternal Love for Me: i.e. give Him the day to Guide for Me.

I must refute the ego who says blatantly: Make all decisions by Yourself! You’re an independent operator!
Now hear the Holy Spirit gently say: Oh, no, You aren’t!

1 I will not lead my life alone today. For that is “business as usual” being run by ego. Oh no! Not today! Today I want help! I do not understand the world. I acknowledge this! And so to try to lead my life alone must be but foolishness. Idiocy and willfulness is more like it! Let’s call a knave a knave today; for that is what I have been for eons. For there is One Who knows all that is best for me. God Guiding Me through the Holy Spirit. And He is glad to make no choices for me but the ones that lead to God. That is His Purpose, a it is Divine. This day I give to Him, for I would not delay my coming home, and it is He Who knows the way to Him. For any other path would be merely ego vanity.

2 And so we give today to You. And very gladly! What a relief to just let go and trust! We need not control. We come with wholly open minds. Longing for Guidance. We do not ask for anything that we may think we want. But, rather, We would gladly put Our trust in God completely. Give us what You would have received by us. Such sweet surrender! You know all our desires and our needs. And You will give us everything we want and that will help us find the way to You.
To trust in God, implicitly, is the way to be happy, for it brings great peace.
