LESSON TWO HUNDRED-THIRTY SIX

L e s s o n  236

I rule my mind, which I alone must rule.

As over it, only I have control; although the ego claims it does rule Me. Yet it’s a liar, from the beginning.

¹ I have a kingdom I must rule. The kingdom of My mind, My consciousness. At times, – more often than not – it does not seem I am its king at all. For it runs the show, and not well at all. It seems to triumph over me and tell me what to think and what to do and feel. And yet it has been given me to serve whatever purpose I perceive in it. Why have I then become its servant? Servant to the ego, which is not My Right Mind, given Me by God, expressing Him. My mind can only serve, and not control Me. I’m in charge of it. Today I give its service to the Holy Spirit – replacing ego! – to employ as He sees fit. I thus direct my mind, which I alone can rule. And thus I set it free to do the Will of God, which it does not do when it is but captive of the ego, seemingly encapsulated by what is called ‘the body’.  This is quite impossible, for the body is not a thing, but is Your identity as Spirit, It’s no more dense and solid than Your name.

² Father, my mind is open to Your Thoughts and closed today to every thought but Yours. I must listen only to Your Voice, and gladly follow It, for heeding It is truly Heaven right in the midst of Life. No need for ‘dying’! God is right here, now, not up in the sky unaccessible, but ever-present and available to Us at all times! I rule my mind and offer it to You, belovèd Father, belovèd Mother. Accept my gift, for it is Yours to me. How much You Love Us!
