LESSON ONE HUNDRED TWENTY-SEVEN

L e s s o n  127

There is no love but God’s.

God is the Source, and We are the result. Our ‘job’ is to be the Presence of It. As Love is God’s Name, it is Our Nature. For Name and Nature are one and the same.  Indeed, You hear My Voice, and if You always listen, and then do heed Me, Your real Name and Nature will also be the same. Frequently remind Yourself of Our relationship as One. I speak to You All when I say this, not just the transcriber.

¹ Perhaps you think that different kinds of love are possible.

Or that Love need not be total, reaching out to everyOne. If You so believe, You are mistaken.

Perhaps you think there is a kind of love for this, a kind for that; a way of loving one, another way of loving still another. Love is one. It has no separate parts and no degrees; no kinds nor levels, no divergencies and no distinctions. It is like itself, unchanged throughout. It never alters with a person or a circumstance. It is the heart of God, and also of His Son.

Thus, in order to be Love, it must belong to everyOne. Love – to be Love – must be both impartial and universal.

² Love’s meaning is obscure to anyone who thinks that love can change.

This peculiar belief goes with the insane idea of a capricious God. (an oxymoron)

He does not see that changing love must be impossible. And thus he thinks that he can love at times and hate at other times. He also thinks that love can be bestowed on one and yet remain itself although it is withheld from others. To believe these things of love is not to understand it. If it could make such distinctions it would have to judge between the righteous and the sinner and perceive the Son of God in separate parts.

And in ways that are most peculiar. This is because the dreaming Son of God – in His insanity – thinks that He has re-invented Love,

³ Love cannot judge.

It knows and sees but Love everywhere It looks. For It is omnipresence as an attribute of God, Be-ing the Divine.

As it is one itself, it looks on all as one.

Love cannot comprehend separation, for One is – and, therefore, must forever be – all-inclusive. Therefore, God sees all that We can see – and oh, so much more – as one cohesive Whole.

Its meaning lies in oneness.

Separation is both incomprehensible and thus impossible to Love.

And it must elude the mind that thinks of it as partial or in part. There is no love but God’s, and all of love is His.

“I Love You” thus more properly becomes “I Love” when this is clearly understood.

There is no principle which rules where love is not. Love is a law without an opposite. Its wholeness is the power holding everything as one, the link between the Father and the Son which holds them both forever as the same.

Identical to the Sun and the Rays. God is much closer to Us than Our breath. He is Our nature: the understanding of Our Consciousness.

⁴ No course whose purpose is to teach you what you really are could fail to emphasize there is no difference in what you are and what love is.

No difference between what God is and what You are. God is Love and so are You.

Love’s meaning is your own, and shared by God Himself. For what you are is what He is. There is no love but His, and what He is is everything there is. There is no limit placed upon Himself, and so are you unlimited as well.

First understand that You are God’s Extension, Love’s Extension; and You cannot be bound by any kind of limit ever. Now You begin to comprehend – and experience – peace, happiness and freedom.

(Glory be to God! Sing hallelujah!) Sisters and Brothers, can You feel My JOY!

⁵ No laws the world obeys can help you grasp love’s meaning. What the world believes was made to hide love’s meaning and to keep it dark and secret. There is not one principle the world upholds but violates the truth of what love is and what you are as well.

The world is all about separation.

Seek not within the world to find your Self. Love is not found in darkness and in death. Yet it is perfectly apparent to eyes that see and ears that hear its Voice.

Dear belovèd Brothers, and greatly cherished Sisters, Listen carefully to Me.

My words from Love can set You free to be God’s Reality, uniquely as Thee.

Sing hallelujah, which but means to sing praises unto God; hymns of gratitude.

⁶ Today we practice making free our mind of all the laws you think you must obey, of all the limits under which you live, and all the changes which you think are part of human destiny.

Today brings freedom to the willing heart.

Today we take the largest single step this course requests in your advance toward its established goal. If you achieve the faintest glimmering of what love means today, you have advanced in distance without measure and in time beyond the count of years to your release.

Love is Your Purpose; and it is the reason for Your Be-ing.

We’re All here simply to Love each Other.

⁷ Let us together, then, be glad to give some time to God today and understand there is no better use for time than this.

Truth: all time could easily be given over to Him with grand improvement of Your experience!

For 15 minutes twice today escape from every law in which you now believe. Open your mind and rest. The world that seems to hold you prisoner can be escaped by anyone who does not hold it dear.

Your prison here is but self-imposed. Push on the door; it will gladly swing open!

Withdraw all value you have placed upon its meager offerings and senseless gifts, and let the Gift of God replace them all.

All ‘gifts’ of earth end up in misery.

⁸ Call to your Father, certain that His Voice will answer. He Himself has promised this.

Make sure You listen for His Voice of Love.

And He Himself will place a spark of truth within your mind wherever you give up a false belief, a dark illusion of your own reality and what love means.

For God is Your Mind, and as You let go of the ego’s beliefs, then Truth does quite automatically replace those errors.

He will shine through your idle thoughts today and help you understand the truth of love.

Choose to invite Him! He will spend each and every day with You when He is welcomed!

In loving gentleness, He will abide with you as you allow His Voice to teach love’s meaning to your clean and open mind.

“clean and open mind” – how very freeing does that sound to Me!  

And He will bless the Lesson with His Love.  You will feel that Love; It’s ever-present. It but waits for Your receptivity!

⁹ Today the legion of the future years of waiting for salvation disappears before the timelessness of what you learn.

All Our Lessons must come to life right now!

Let us give thanks today that we are spared a future like the past.  

Each Lesson truly teaches Us freedom.

Today we leave the past behind us, never more to be remembered. And we raise our eyes upon a different present, where a future shines unlike the past in every attribute.

It guarantees Your peace and happiness forever, if You will but accept it.

¹⁰ The world in infancy is newly born.

It is but born through Your changed perception. A

nd we will watch it grow in strength and health to shed its blessing upon all who come to learn to cast aside the world they thought was made in hate to be love’s enemy.

It did seem to be; yet it was always unreality!

Now are they all made free along with us.

Freedom comes with Divine realization.

Now are they all our brothers in God’s Love. 

We All always were; just now We know it!

¹¹ We will remember them throughout the day because we cannot leave a part of us outside our love if we would know our Self.  

There I go! Saying that again: Love must include all Others.

At least three times an hour think of one who makes the journey with you and who came to learn what you must learn.

It’s not just for You!

And as he comes to mind, give him this message from your Self:

¹² I bless you, brother, with the Love of God
 Which I would share with you. For I would learn
 The joyous lesson that there is no love
 But God’s and yours and mine and everyone’s. 

To be Love, it must be all-inclusive. I know I just said that! You think I’m repetitive, yet You All need to get it.

And it is joyous!
