LESSON ONE HUNDRED SEVENTEEN

L e s s o n  117

¹ For morning and evening review:

[103] God, being Love, is also happiness.

Lord help Me too to be Love, so I can presence happiness for all My Others. (a.k.a. Brothers; a.k.a. Sisters)

² Let me remember love is happiness And nothing else brings joy.

Indeed, for happiness is the direct result of Loving. Notice that I said “Loving” as in giving; not ‘being loved’ as in receiving.

And so I choose To entertain no substitutes for love.

How could I? There really aren’t any!

[104] I seek but what belongs to me in truth.

I have an intrinsic ability to Love and be loved.

³ Love is my heritage and with it joy.

For giving Love and being happy are like Abbott and Costello; what is one without the other? It would be unreal. Until this is understood, the Love and happiness of God is completely incomprehensible, and You see but a shadow of them both.

These are the gifts my Father gave to me.

For God wills but Reality as You.

I would accept all that is mine in truth.

If I deny it, I deny My Self.

⁴ On the hour:

⁵ God, being Love, is also happiness.

Father-Mother God, help Me understand You so that I may come to know My Self.

⁶ On the half hour:

⁷ I seek but what belongs to me in truth.

Love and happiness are My eternal heritage as God’s forever Presence. I’m not an image, but Spirit’s eternal representative of God. So is every One. We show Our willingness to Love by how We are to One another.
