LESSON TWO HUNDRED-NINETY TWO

L e s s o n  292

A happy outcome to all things is sure.  Good news for this so tired, troubled world.  How can this good news be?  Eventually everyone wakes from their dreaming.  It can be You right now, as You are willing.

¹ God’s promises make no exceptions. All are quite welcomingly included! And He guarantees that only joy can be the final outcome found for everything. Why don’t You see it?  Hear what is the most important question: Will You allow it?  Why won’t You see it; what does block Your way? Hear now the answer: For You do block it. Yet it is up to us when this is reached-how long we let an alien will appear to be opposing His. I speak of the loveless ego that runs each One of You.  How much longer will You let it control Your mind instead of God?  And while we think this will is real, we will not find the end – Our true happiness – He – belovèd Father – has appointed as the outcome of all problems we perceive, all trials we see, and every situation that we meet. If You have a nightmare, what is the solution?  Realize that You are dreaming and simply wake up!  Not complicated! Yet is the ending certain.  Because God is, the ending must be Good. For God’s Will is done in earth and Heaven.  Although what You call ‘earth’ appears to be disaster, remember that it is a dream.  God is supreme. We will seek and we will find according to His Will, which guarantees that our will is done.  For We must be in harmony as He.

² We thank You, Father, for Your guarantee of only happy outcomes in the end. We know that it must be necessity, for Your Will is Good; Your Love for Us is for eternity. Help us not interfere and so delay the happy endings You have promised us for every problem that we can perceive, for every trial we think we still must meet.

How else can We do this but to always listen to You carefully and follow Your directions, which are given every instant.

There is but one way to do this, and that is to listen quite assiduously to Your every word as You direct Us.  It is this listening and following that are the end of the separation.  Hence their importance.

What is the Real World?

 

The Real World is how You see Reality with God while looking through the veil – in other words, the mental state – of ego.  You’re in the dream, yet wanting to waken.

¹ The real world is a symbol like the rest of what perception offers.  With eyes that see through ego thought, nothing You think You see is real, distorted by Your mindset; albeit Reality. Yet it stands for what is opposite to what you made.  All is not lost, but still available to the willing mind, a mind that would gladly drop fear for Love. Your world is seen through eyes of fear and brings the witnesses of terror to your mind.  To read the news is absolutely overwhelming to the unforgiving mind. The real world cannot be perceived except through eyes forgiveness blesses, so they see a world where terror is impossible and witnesses to fear can not be found.  What is this “forgiveness” that I am always recommending?  It is the mind that will gladly give, instead of focusing on always getting. In this world, forgiveness is a gift that You receive as well, by giving Love and grace to Your Brothers.  It’s Heaven’s Presence in the midst of hell.

² The real world holds a counterpart  – Truth replacing lies – for each unhappy thought reflected in your world, a sure correction for the sights of fear and sounds of battle which your world contains.  For the ego is quite sure it always has to be at war to protect its self.  That’s because it survives by attacking. Let Us contemplate a different picture: The real world shows a world seen differently, through quiet eyes and with a mind at peace. I hear Your unspoken question: How can You ever learn to see and think like this? Be willing to join with Me, with God, or with Holy Spirit. Joining brings You peace. Nothing but rest is there. There are no cries of pain and sorrow heard, for nothing here remains outside forgiveness. And the sights are gentle. Only happy sights and sounds can reach the mind that has forgiven itself.  You just need but surrender the ego mindset for the mind of Christ, which I will gladly share with You, share with All of You.

³ What need has such a mind for thoughts of death, attack, and murder?  Of what use are they but to the ego. They are but nightmares. The mind longing for Reality leaves dreams behind, both pleasant and unpleasant. Blessèd is that mind. What can it perceive surrounding it but safety, love, and joy? What is there it would choose to be condemned, and what is there that it would judge against? The world it sees arises from a mind at peace within itself.  You understand the world is not ‘out there’ for it exists as part of consciousness. No danger lurks in anything it sees, – this new mind of Yours – for it is kind and only kindness does it look upon.

⁴ The real world is the symbol that the dream of sin and guilt is over and God’s Son no longer sleeps.  He does not even want the happy dream, but longs instead for God’s Reality. His waking eyes perceive the sure reflection of his Father’s Love, the certain promise that he is redeemed.  Love full happiness floods His consciousness. The real world signifies the end of time, for its perception makes time purposeless.  No beginnings and no endings for the Real is forever.

⁵ The Holy Spirit has no need of time when it has served His purpose.  Spirit knows no limits for It is everywhere and always.. Now He waits but that one instant more for God to take His final step, and time has disappeared, taking perception with it as it goes and leaving but the Truth to be Itself.  All that’s left to evaporate is any sense of separation, for with the memory of God restored comes experience of Oneness. That instant is our goal, for it contains the memory of God. And as we look upon a world forgiven, it is He Who calls to us and comes to take us home, reminding us of our Identity which our forgiveness has restored to us.  And then, indeed, with joy, We know God is.
