LESSON TWO HUNDRED-EIGHTY EIGHT

Let me forget my brother’s past today.  And with it My own; for could I give a better gift either to Myself or Him?   This is Love indeed; seeing Every One born anew as Christ.  Freed from the horror of thinking ‘human’.  Strong words?  Indeed!  For I need free You from Your thoughts of hell, the one You call the world.

¹ This is the thought that leads the way to You and brings me to my goal.  To see each of My Brothers, holy, sinless, and then to gladly understand Our responsibility to each Other.  I cannot come to You without my brother.  For He is part of Me and I of He. And to know my Source, – and to know My Self – I first must recognize what You created one with me. My brother’s is the hand that leads me on the way to You. My hand does the same for Him; for We All do need each Other. His sins are in the past along with mine. So long forgotten. And I am saved because the past is gone.  Each Holy Instant fresh and new when the past is left behind. Let me not cherish it within my heart or I will lose the way to walk to You. My brother is my savior. I need to Love Him for He is Your Son, as I am as well. We are real Brothers! Let me not attack the savior You have given me. No matter how trying S/He seems to be. But let me honor him who bears Your Name and so remember that It is my own.  You are Father-Mother to each One of Us, and Your Love for Us is equal. We must remember this and Love each Other, for such is Reality.  Imagine that experience!  It is Mine as soon as I am willing!

² Forgive me, then, today.  As I have forgiven You by knowing You to be holy, just as Your Father. And you will know you have forgiven me if you behold your brother in the light of holiness.  On this firm foundation do We gladly keep God’s command to Love One another. He cannot be less holy than can I, and you cannot be holier than he.  We All do share God’s gentle Holiness.  God’s Ones are equal.  This Truth is crucial.

On this basis do You Love Your Brother: God’s Ones are equal.

What is the Holy Spirit?

 

The Holy Spirit is pure, perfect, holy.  All the things You think You couldn’t be; yet You really are!
That’s Holy Spirit!

¹The Holy Spirit mediates between illusions and the truth. It is a place the mind’s mis-sense as ego can go before it recalls that it really is Divine. As He must bridge the gap between reality and dreams, perception leads to knowledge through the grace that God has given Him, – unlike yields to like – to be His gift to everyone who turns to Him for truth.  The Holy Truth of what S/He really is. Across the bridge that He provides – a kindly non-judgmental state of mind (which All should adopt!)– are dreams all carried to the truth, – ever so gently – to be dispelled before the light of knowledge. Gently disappearing in the Light of Truth, and transforming to Reality, and Awakening in gentle wonder as the Son of God We have always been. There are sights and sounds forever laid aside. And where they were perceived before, forgiveness has made possible perception’s tranquil end.  Nothing has been lost; all Good is still here.

Nightmares are over; Heaven no longer pushed up in the sky, but ever-present.

² The goal the Holy Spirit’s teaching sets is just this end of dreams. For sights and sounds must be translated from the witnesses of fear to those of love.  What was an experience of hell is transformed by Heaven And when this is entirely accomplished, learning has achieved the only goal it has in truth: God’s Reality. For learning, as the Holy Spirit guides it to the outcome He perceives for it, becomes the means to go beyond itself, to be replaced by the Eternal Truth.  The Holy Spirit’s teaching is but total transformation: hell into Heaven.  From fear, and doubt, and misery, into happiness and peace.

³ If you but knew how much your Father yearns to have you recognize your sinlessness, – how He longs for You to once again remember His beneficent Reality; and if You did – you would not let His Voice appeal in vain nor turn away from His replacement for the fearful images and dreams you made.  You are not what You think You are, but Something so much better! The Holy Spirit understands the means you made, by which you would attain what is forever unattainable.  For the Holy Spirit is the bridge from hell to Heaven.  This cannot be said too often as You learn to go to Him for every need You have. And if you offer them to Him, He will employ the means you made for exile to restore your mind to where it truly is at home.  And see hellish fears gently yield to Heaven’s transformation.

⁴ From knowledge, – which is all things Real – where He has been placed by God, the Holy Spirit calls to you to let forgiveness rest upon your dreams and be restored to sanity and peace of mind.  The unforgiving heart is absent Love.  And where there is no Love, then there is fear. Without forgiveness will your dreams remain to terrify you. And the memory of all your Father’s Love will not return to signify the end of dreams has come.

Hard-heartedness is such a block to Love that becomes impenetrable until Love does dissolve it.

⁵ Accept your Father’s gift.  For It is priceless, the bridge that does return You to Love is called: Holy Spirit. It is a call from Love to Love that it be but itself. Love is a bridge that can breach all barricades, melting them away, when It is gladly, freely given. The Holy Spirit is His gift by Which the quietness of Heaven is restored to God’s beloved Son. Do You begin to see just how Loved by God You really are? Would you refuse to take the function of completing God when all He wills is that you be complete?  Now would You not gladly accept His Love?  For It is far, far lovelier than all things found in the world.

Feel His gentle Love calling You to come Home through the path of Love and forgiveness.
The Bridge of Holy Spirit patiently awaits You Presence.
