LESSON THIRTY-EIGHT

There is nothing my holiness cannot do.

Holiness is but Reality and easily outweighs the most persistent dream the ego has.

¹ Your holiness reverses all the laws of the world. What do I mean here?  The world is an experience of fragmentation as well as separation.  Wholeness is another word for Holiness; therefore, both are the correction for the fragmentation, also known as the separation.

It is beyond every restriction of time, space, distance, and limits of any kind. For they are of the world and Holiness is but of Heaven. And It is the opposite of ‘matter’.

Your holiness is totally unlimited in its power because it establishes you as a Son of God, at one with the Mind of his Creator. The Son of God is the Whole One of God.

Through your holiness, – Your Divine Nature – the power of God is made manifest. Through your holiness the power of God is made available.  Yes, You’re getting the right sense of it.  Now let Us express it.  God is the Source of All; the Source of All is God.  The Son is the Expression of the Source.  And Source and Its Expression are but the seamless One.  And that seamless One is Omnipotence. And there is nothing the power of God cannot do.  That Power is bestowed on God’s belovèd collective Son. Yes. The Holy One.

² Your holiness, then, can remove all pain, can end all sorrow, and can solve all problems. ‘Because I am the Son;’ sing this out, each One. It can do so in connection with yourself and with anyone else. It is equal in its power to help anyone because it is equal in its power to save anyone.  I give this Course to You for healing, not just of the mind but of the body too, for they are but One. If you are holy, so is everything God created. You are holy because all things He created are holy. And all things He created are holy because you are.  Holiness cannot be fragmented, broken into parts, some holy, not Others.  Not so, the Nature of Divinity.

³ In today’s exercises, we will apply the power of your holiness to all problems, difficulties, or suffering in any form that you happen to think of in yourself or someone else. We will make no distinctions because there are no distinctions.  And what is Holy must be Whole as well. Wholeness is equality.  All the Sons of God are One; therefore, They are equal.

⁴ In the four longer practice periods, each preferably to last a full five minutes, repeat the idea for today, close your eyes, and then search your mind for any sense of loss or unhappiness of any kind as you see it. Try to make as little distinction as possible between a situation that is difficult for you and one that is difficult for someone else. It should not be hard.  The dream is quite rife with difficulties. Identify the situation specifically and also the name of the person concerned. Use this form in applying the idea for today:

⁵ In the situation involving ______ in which I see myself, there is nothing that my holiness cannot do. In the situation involving ______ in which _____ sees himself, there is nothing my holiness cannot do.  It would not be presumptuous to expect some blessings, or even many.

⁶ From time to time you may want to vary this procedure and add some relevant thoughts of your own. You might like, for example, to include thoughts such as:

⁷ There is nothing my holiness cannot do because the power of God lies in it.  God is omnipotent and Holiness Itself; therefore, Holiness must also be omnipotent. And, indeed, It is.  And not just omnipotent, but omnipresent too.

This, too, is quite crucial to understand: that God and Holiness are ever-present and always available to You.

Always, forever.  And I, too, am ever-present for You; whether You sleep, or whether You Awake.

As I said to My first Disciples, so, too, I say now to You: I’ll never leave You nor forsake You.  All My words are True.

⁸ Introduce whatever variations appeal to you, but keep the exercises focused on the theme “There is nothing my holiness cannot do.”  Make sure that You remember this is True. The purpose of today’s exercises is to begin to instill in you a sense that you have dominion over all things because of what you are.

⁹ In the frequent shorter applications, apply the idea in its original form unless a specific problem concerning you or someone else arises or comes to mind. In that event, use the more specific form of application.

And, remember, I am always with You.
