LESSON THREE HUNDRED FORTY EIGHT

L e s s o n  348

I have no cause for anger or for fear, for You surround me.

You are My buffer from all worldly pain.  And I thank Thee when in anguish,₁ I turn from the world to You.

And in every need that I perceive, Your grace suffices me.

It is far more than sufficient, it is transforming healing.

¹ Father, let me remember You are here, and I am not alone. I could never be for there is no existence without You.  You are Life Itself, and, thus, when I remember, so am I.  Surrounding me is everlasting Love. Nor am I apart in any way from this Love; it is My whole sum and substance. I have no cause for anything except the perfect peace and joy I share with You.  Nothing else is Real. What need have I for anger or for fear? Except that I choose to believe the dream, choose that’s really poor.  For, without it, All Things are really Good. Surrounding me is perfect safety.  Your sure, kindly Love. Can I be afraid when Your eternal promise goes with me?  You will neverleave Me nor forsake Me. It would be an impossibility! Surrounding me is perfect sinlessness. Purity is reflected out from Me! What can I fear when You created me in holiness as perfect as Your own?  Truly gratitude is the only attitude!  And that is not a platitude but a beatitude.  Yes, I enjoy this time together and the flow of words and ideas equally as much as You do.

² God’s grace suffices us in everything that He would have us do. And only that we choose to be our will as well as His.  These words and Lessons are meant to be enjoyable, not solemn duties!  Waking up is not meant to be work, it is fun!
