LESSON THREE HUNDRED THIRTY EIGHT

The Guidance is in normal type In His Guidance, He has asked Me to capitalize the pronouns You and We as an acknowledgement of the Divinity of All of Us, an acknowledgement of Equality, an expression of His Love and respect for You. When You see the word ‘YOU’ capitalized in the Guidance, know that He is not just speaking to YOU, He is honoring YOU.

I am affected only by my thoughts.

How could it be otherwise, when all there is is consciousness.

In the dream do You believe the body to be real and be the object that badly needs protection.  As an object is the body non-existent.  For it is not a ‘thing’ but Your Identity made tangible to all of Spirit’s senses.

¹ It needs but this to let salvation come to all the world. For in this single thought is everyone released at last from fear. It is so very clear that We never can be harmed, for everything is going on in Consciousness, and as Consciousness!  And I – and I alone – am but the conductor of the orchestra of My thoughts.

Now he has learned that no one frightens him and nothing can endanger him.  That “Him” and “He” are also known Me. No more need for fear, for: “The buck stops here.”₁ He has no enemies, and he is safe from all external things.  For everything is but within, not out. So how do You guarantee Your safety?  By joining with the Holy Spirit.  On ‘Your ‘own’ – i.e. Your thinking – the world is terrifying. His thoughts can frighten him, but since these thoughts belong to him alone, he has the power to change them and exchange each fear thought for a happy thought of love. This may take a little practice.  Be sure to ask the Holy Spirit to be Your Partner, not the calculating ego, which will do anything to be in charge. He crucified himself.   The separated Son of God, rather than Awakening.

Yet God has planned that His beloved Son will be redeemed.  Made Holy by His own Reality as the Son of God.

For the belovèd Son is forever embraced by the steadfast Love of His Holy Father-Mother.

² Your plan is sure, my Father-only Yours. Let Me listen quite intently for Your Holy Messenger – really My Right Mind – Who speaks for both Me and You, simultaneously. – All other plans will fail. And I will have thoughts that will frighten me until I learn that You have given me the only thought which leads me to salvation. Mine alone will fail and lead me nowhere. – My thoughts are full of fear, and most incoherent lacking Your Divine Perfection. – But the thought You gave me promises to lead me home, because it holds Your promise to Your Son.  There is nothing to fear but the ego; its insane babble, hiding All Your words of Love until I tell it to shut up!

And shut up I will tell it from now on!
