LESSON ONE HUNDRED-SEVENTY-TWO

God is but Love, and therefore so am I. 

Have You yet stopped looking at Yourself as a ‘human being’? (A ‘human’ being what?)(or better yet: a Be-ing being ‘human’?  Very odd.  Why would You – the Son – care to pretend to be something called a ‘human’ and not Son?)

[153] In my defenselessness my safety lies.  From what have I been defending Myself, but My Self!  For the ego would have Me stay as it forever.  A nasty thing.  And yet, I can simply ignore it, as if it never were because it wasn’t, and it isn’t, and it never will be.

And where is My safety but in the understanding of that, for as I said two thousand years ago, be it unto You as You say, that statement remains the truth.

God is but Love, and therefore so am I.  Since I am Love – not a body – what can harm Me but My thought?

[154] I am among the ministers of God.  And what makes a minister, but the desired to minister – to care for Others – by first Knowing with a certainty that God is Love.  That is the Gift You have to give, to allow it to come alive in You, as You.  Such is the perfect way to minister to All Your Brothers.

God is but Love, and therefore so am I.  Since God is Love and I am Love, We must be One.
