LESSON SEVENTY-SEVEN

I am entitled to miracles.

Not just one a day, or one a minute, but every Holy Instant is here to be experienced as miraculous.  For miracles are but Reality bursting through the dream in which You’ve so carefully encased Yourselves!

They only seem extraordinary within the dream, which has been carefully constructed to keep Reality at bay and God far away.  Yet God and His Reality – also known as Heaven – remain closer to You than is Your heartbeat, because They are You.

¹ You are entitled to miracles because of what you are. – Holy Son of God – You will receive miracles because of what God is. – Everloving Source.  Ever-giving Source. – And you will offer miracles because you are one with God. Again, how simple is salvation! It is merely a statement of your true identity. It is this that we will celebrate today.

And what is Your real Identity belovèd Son of God? You are My Sister and My Brother, so to speak, depending on the gender You have chosen for the current dream We share; You by an ancient choice, now long forgotten, and I by My devoted commitment to Your freedom.

² Your claim to miracles does not lie in your illusions about yourself. – It relies on Truth. – It does not depend on any magical powers you have ascribed to yourself nor on any of the rituals you have devised. It is inherent in the truth of what you are. It is implicit in what God your Father is. It was ensured in your creation and guaranteed by the laws of God.

And It is forever permanent, despite Your cavalier rejection of It.

³ Today we will claim the miracles which are your right since they belong to you. – They point the way to Your freedom from the hell that You have made. – You have been promised full release from the world you made. – And ‘hell’ is synonymous with ‘world’ to it is the opposite of God’s Heaven. For the purpose of the world is to hide Heaven from Your view. – You have been assured that the Kingdom of God is within you and can never be lost. We ask no more than what belongs to us in truth. Today, however, we will also make sure that we will not content ourselves with less.

Let Us together be committed to Your Freedom.

⁴ Begin the longer practice periods by telling yourself quite confidently that you are entitled to miracles.

Does this seem bold to You?  More than You deserve?  Well, It isn’t.  If You were thirsty would You not ask for drink?  Hungry, some food?  Well You are far more hungry and thirsty for the Kingdom than You can imagine.

What do I mean?  Your endless quests for the perfect partner and for children or for pets are but poor substitutes for the Love of God.  Those “I Love You” ‘s never are enough to satisfy the empty ache for the Love and belonging that are the Kingdom.

Eating, drugging, money, drinking, are never enough to fill that empty void that can be filled only by the Love of God both from You and for You.

That Love is always there.  You just can’t afford to see it/feel it if You want to remain in an ego delusion.  And so You resolutely do ignore It.  It would take a miracle for You to see It!  Thus do You resist what You are entitled to!

Come and say it with Me: I AM ENTITLED TO MIRACLES!

Closing your eyes, remind yourself that you are asking only for what is rightfully yours. Remind yourself also that miracles are never taken from one and given to another and that in asking for your rights you are upholding the rights of everyone. Miracles do not obey the laws of this world. They merely follow from the laws of God.

Miracles are the Love of God bursting through the dream.  Join Me in inviting them.  You do deserve them.  As the Lesson says: You are entitled.

⁵ After this brief introductory phase, wait quietly for the assurance that your request is granted. You have asked for the salvation of the world and for your own. You have requested that you be given the means by which this is accomplished. You cannot fail to be assured in this. You are but asking that the Will of God be done. In doing this, you do not really ask for anything. You state a fact that cannot be denied.

The sleeping Son of God is entitled to miracles.  He needs them because He is sleeping.  The Son of God asleep needs a miracle to waken Him.

What makes this hard for the ego mindset to comprehend is its own demands for punishment on all that does offend it.  Because it demands consequences, it assumes that God does.

Yet God is the opposite of the ego.  For the ego hates, while God Is Love.

⁶ The Holy Spirit cannot but assure you that your request is granted. – Why do You think that the Holy Spirit assures You that Your request is granted?  Because We have been waiting for You to allow an influx of Love from the Holy Father-Mother.  – The fact that you accepted must be so. There is no room for doubt and uncertainty today. – How Loved are You by Us, now and at every single moment! Reach out to Us, for We are here for You. – We are asking a real question at last. – Is there really help? Yes, indeed, there is, and You surely are entitled to it. – The answer is a simple statement of a simple fact. You will receive the assurance that you seek.

⁷ Our shorter practice periods will be frequent and will also be devoted to a reminder of a simple fact. Tell yourself often today:

⁸ I am entitled to miracles.

⁹ Ask for them whenever a situation arises in which they are called for. You will recognize these situations; you are not relying on yourself to find them, you are therefore fully entitled to receive them whenever you ask.

Let Us say this again: You are not relying on Yourself!  You need a miracle, and, yes, You are entitled to it!

¹⁰ Remember, too, not to be satisfied with less than the perfect answer. Be quick to tell yourself, should you be tempted:

¹¹ I will not trade miracles for grievances. – i.e. I will not look for who is to blame for the problem. –
I want only what belongs to me.
God has established miracles as my right.

I am still the Belovèd Son of God. … …

“I want to go Home, where I belong.”  Now.
