LESSON THREE HUNDRED TWENTY-ONE

 

L e s s o n  321

Father, my freedom is in you alone.

Isn’t that the Truth! All other things I might desire bring Me only bondage. Freedom is Your Gift to the Sons of God. We need accept it.

 

¹ I did not understand what made me free nor what my freedom is nor where to look to find it. I thought it came in self-indulgence. I found that that was wrong! It comes from giving. Father, I have searched in vain until I heard Your Voice directing me. What a great relief. No need to make my ‘own’ ddecisions! Glory hallelujah! Now I would guide myself no more. Oh! So relaxing. No need any more to be in control. For I have neither made nor understood the way to find my freedom. But I trust in You. It feels really good! Even if I’m Be-ing repetitious! You Who endowed me with my freedom as Your holy Son will not be lost to me. We’re One forever. Your Voice directs me. And now I listen! And the way to You is opening and clear to me at last. Father, my freedom is in You alone. Now have I learned that golden, lovely Truth. Father, it is my will that I return, not just to You but to My Right Mind too.

² Today we answer for the world, which will be freed along with us. Consciousness is One. How glad are we to find our freedom through the certain way our Father has established. Thanks be to God for all His loving Gifts. How much He loves Us. And how sure is all the world’s salvation when we learn our freedom can be found in God alone. For it is in Mind, and, thus, forever.

L e s s o n  320

My Father gives all power unto me.

Huh! What does this mean? I’m not You, Jesus! … You’re saying that What You are, I am, for there is but One Son; and just like You, I am Part of this One.

And every Part – despite appearances – is – must be – Holy. It’s a new way for Me to think of Me.

¹ The Son of God is limitless. Here comes another stretch for Me! “Limitless” means I’m not stuck in a body, eventually to die, but I am Life, eternally expressed; right here and right now, as I allow It. There are no limits on his strength, his peace, his joy, or any attributes his Father gave in his creation. “Unlimited”. I need Your help to understand what this really means! For I am on beyond confused! What he wills with his Creator and Redeemer must be done. This is very different than dreaming, doing as I please. That must be why I’m so attached to it! Truly addicted. I wish there were a “Dreams Anonymous” to help Me break this habit. … You’re saying that there is, sweet Jesus; and You are It! And this “He” of Whom You’re speaking just happens to be Me, Whoever Me is listening presently. His holy will can never be denied – in other words, that’s My will that’s Holyl  Indeed it is, Sisters, Brothers; these Lessons are extremely personal, and have but one Purpose: that is to Waken You – because his Father shines upon his mind and lays before it all the strength and love in earth and Heaven. The Lessons are to open up the dark curtains of Your mind, letting in Love’s Light! Yes, it is to All of You I speak, for the Father sent Me to Awaken You. I am he to whom all this is given. I am he in whom the power of my Father’s Will abides. For I am His Son, with All My Others. All of Us are One!

² Your Will can do all things in me – let Me allow It! – and then extend to all the world as well through me. There is no limit on Your Will. And so all power has been given to Your Son. Who must remember always that S/He is One with every One!

LESSON THREE HUNDRED-NINETEEN

I came for the salvation of the world.

I am here for a purpose, although I knew it not before this very instant! I’m here to save the world. For two thousand years, no-One else has volunteered. (Not that I remember jumping up and saying “I’ll do it!” Only that You say I am Brother.)

¹ Here is a thought from which all arrogance has been removed, and only truth is left. A simple statement, based on willingness. For arrogance opposes truth. Arrogance is born of ego, while true humility comes straight from God, from Love.  Arrogance is the opposite of Love, doing what it wants. But where there is no arrogance, the truth will come immediately and fill up the space the ego left unoccupied by lies. Let’s make room for Truth within Our minds, which will become once again unlimited. Only the ego can be limited, and therefore it must seek for aims which are curtailed and limiting. The ego thinks that what one gains totality must lose. And yet it is the Will of God I learn that what one gains is given unto all. Unselective Love of all My Others – i.e. impartial – is the only way to total freedom. Let Me choose Love now; no more delaying by holding on to outdated grudges! What makes a grudge outdated: unwillingness to let it go!

² Father, Your Will is total. And the goal that stems from it shares its totality. What aim but the salvation of the world could You have given me (and All My Others)? And what but this could be the Will my Self has shared with You? Do I really think there is another goal but to remember You! There surely isn’t! Nor is there another way but Love which leads to forgiveness!

In me salvation’s means and end are one.

For in Me they do come to fruition, as this is His plan for My salvation. I need be willing to exit the dream. My part in it is but to give My wholehearted willingness and do what that takes.

¹ In me, God’s holy Son, – that is What I am – are reconciled – brought in harmony; harmony in Me – all parts of Heaven’s plan to save the world. What could conflict when all the parts have but one purpose and one aim? How could there be a single part that stands aside or one of more or less importance than the rest? All Sons are equal. One’s willingness must become everyOne’s, for it is the Truth. I am the means by which God’s Son is saved because salvation’s purpose is to find the sinlessness which God has placed in me. To understand the sinlessness of One is to understand it for everyOne. Do You see the problems in Your world? Here is the solution. I was created as the thing I seek. I am already what I wish I were. I am the goal the world is searching for. I am God’s Son, His one Eternal Love. I am He just as anyOne can be, for God Loves Us All. I am salvation’s means and end as well. This is what I must and have accepted.

² Let me today, my Father take the role You offer me in Your request that I accept atonement for myself. Let Me be willing to not only accept – but also to gladly embrace – Atonement for Myself. For thus is what is thereby reconciled in me become as surely reconciled to You. Harmony in Me must thus come from My Harmony with Thee.

I follow in the way appointed me.

Like a missing puzzle piece, the picture is just incomplete without every One. And each One of Us is One of “every”!

¹ I have a special place to fill—a role for me alone. This Truth for every One of Us surely bears repetition, until It unfolds in Its fruition! Salvation waits until I take this part as what I choose to do. It brings Me freedom. Until I make this choice, I am the slave of time and human destiny. A fate that leads but to human ‘dying’. Why would You choose that? Make this different choice: But when I willingly and gladly go the way my Father’s plan appointed me to go, – to such a Heavenly experience, right here and right now – then will I recognize salvation is already here, already given all my brothers and already mine as well. Freely it has been given, freely will I now receive it.

 

² Father, Your way is what I choose today. There is no other. Where it would lead me, do I choose to go; what it would have me do, I choose to do. For I so trust You. Your way is certain and the end secure. You Love Us so much! The memory of You awaits me there, – so faint now in My mind, yet full of longing – and all my sorrows end in Your embrace, which You have promised to Your Son, who thought mistakenly that he had wandered from the sure protection of Your loving arms. This long, long nightmare is almost over! It waits but on My willingness to now be re-Awakened.

LESSON THREE HUNDRED-SIXTEEN

All gifts I give my brothers are my own.

I understand now what St.Francis meant: that in giving, We receive. For to give We must already have to have something to give. Thus must We learn Love to give It.

¹ As every gift my brothers give is mine, – yet remains for them – so every gift I give belongs to me. These gifts must be Love. Each one allows a past mistake to go and leave no shadow on the holy mind my Father loves. What but forgiveness has this power? Nothing else; forgiveness does correct the past giving everyOne a spotless present. His grace is given me in every gift a brother has received throughout all time and past all time as well. What does this teach but understanding Oneness with All Others.  Have I a problem with My Brother? Let Me correct My mind. Let it be spotless. My treasure house is full, and angels watch its open doors that not one gift is lost and only more are added. Let me come to where my treasures are – safe in my Right Mind – and enter in where I am truly welcome and at home among the gifts that God has given me.  Consciousness unburdened by the ego, coming uninterrupted, straight from God: His Reality.

² Father, I would accept Your gifts today.  For they have Value because they are Yours. The Bible tells Us that all good Gifts come from You;₁ this is true. I do not recognize them.  I need instruction. Yet I trust that You Who gave them will provide the means by which I can behold them, see their worth, and cherish only them as what I want.  For this, We have been given ears to hear within and eyes to read without, Our every question answered, just as Our Elder Brother said: Seek and You will find. Knock and it will be opened.

All gifts my brothers give belong to me.

Yes, You’ve grasped My point here very quickly. All gifts belong to each One of Us, for there is but one universal Knowing and but One Sonship. What We know, We must then know together.  Why is this? For We All are Part of God, and, therefore, holy.

¹ Each day a thousand treasures come to me with every passing moment. Things of which I have been unaware for eons, for I had forgotten Oneness. I am blessed with gifts throughout the day, in value far beyond all things of which I can conceive. Each Brother, and each Sister, is an amazing Gift to Me. A brother smiles upon another, and my heart is gladdened. No goodness anywhere can ever be unnoticed by Me. Someone speaks a word of gratitude or mercy, and my mind perceives this gift and takes it as its own. This is a consequence of “Love Your Neighbour as Yourself” because S/He is Yourself. And everyone who finds the way to God becomes my savior, pointing out the way to me and giving me his certainty that what he learned is surely mine as well. The Christ is everyOne I see, and the Christ is also Me.

² I thank You, Father, for the many gifts that come to me today and every day from every Son of God. Thank You for Oneness. My brothers are unlimited in all their gifts to me. And I in mine to them. Now may I offer them my thankfulness that gratitude to them may lead me on to my Creator and His memory. As Reality continues to unfold Itself to Me.

I seek a future different from the past.

Lord, please help it be! Do this thing for Me.

Belovèd Sister, with the greatest pleasure will I assist You in Awakening from this foolish dream! And not just You, but All Our Others too; for We are in this dream All together. Most are asleep, while a few of Us have wakened.

¹ From new perception of the world there comes a future very different from the past. And a past made new. First, though, We need but correct the Present. This will – obviously – correct the past. A new present means a different past. We seek one better, and it is granted; for God is but Love. The future now is recognized as but extension of the present. We leave the past behind when We are now. Past mistakes can cast no shadows on it, so that fear has lost its idols and its images, and being formless, it has no effects. We will not look back! Death will not claim the future now, for life is now its goal, and all the needed means are happily provided. Grateful now are We. Who can grieve or suffer when the present has been freed, – no longer joined to an unhappy past, but rather to such a peaceful present – extending its security and peace into a quiet future filled with hope? Great gratitude is rising up and spilling over.  And it’s blessing everyOne. The world now is made fresh and new by the miracle of Love. For a great and undreamed of Good has now come to stay; as goes the song: “not just for today, but always.”₁ My Love song here to You and everyOne.

It must be understood: Christ is not just for a few, S/He is but for everyOne!

² Father, we were mistaken in the past and choose to use the present to be free.  A peaceful, happy present does negate the worst of pasts. all Now do we leave the future in Your hands, – in peaceful, perfect trust that all is well and always will be – leaving behind our past mistakes – which were but nightmares; they were never real – and sure that You will keep Your present promises and guide the future in their holy light.  You are always present and always now.  For  this fact I am so very grateful.

Now let a new perception come to me.

A better, and a clearer way to see Thee and S/He and Me.

¹ Father, there is a vision which beholds all things as sinless, – It doesn’t see the ‘human’ picture, realizing that It is a dream; It looks instead to God (and not the ego) for Its every answer – so that fear has gone and where it was is love invited in. When disbelieving sin, Love rushes in! It’s cause and effect! And love will come wherever it is asked. You can count on this! This vision is Your gift. The eyes of Christ look on a world forgiven. The problem is, for ego-dom, this state of mind has been forgotten. Fortuitously God’s Solution: Christ is forever here reminding. For this Our gratitude does flow unbounded, like a rushing river spills its banks! In His sight are all its sins forgiven, – His Love, flowing, just washes them away – for He sees no sin in anything He looks upon. Christ is Truth, and Love is but Its Nature. Now let His true perception come to me – and renew My mind, that it be as His – that I may waken from the dream of guilt – ego lack of Love – and look within upon my sinlessness which You have kept completely undefiled upon the altar to Your holy Son, the Self with which I would identify. Upon this altar is the ego now sacrificed to Love, … and to Peace and Joy, Its concomitants.₁

² Let us today behold each other in the sight of Christ. How beautiful we are! How holy and how loving! How glorious Our God! Time to rejoice! Brother, come and join with me today. Let Us sing Our joyous praise to Our belovèd God, You and I, joined together. We save the world when we are joined. Bringing Christ to It! For in our vision it becomes as holy as the light in us. Let Us then have the sweet Will that comes from God to be Holy.

LESSON THREE HUNDRED-TWELVE

 

L e s s o n  312

I see all things as I would have them be.

Not as God made them. Herein lies the entire problem with what We call the world: it is a deliberate delusion; quite far from happy.  Yet being Our miscreation, We’re loath to abandon it, so We pretend it is of God, calling Him Creator of this monstrosity.

Not so. He is the Author but of Good. This must be very clearly understood.

¹ Perception follows judgment. We see what We believe, sure that it’s ‘truth’. For We wish to believe in illusions. Yes, it is insane, most assuredly. Having judged, you therefore see what you would look upon. First comes the decision, then the vision. Yes, You heard Me right! You are right: this is the fulcrum₁ of the Course. This is the perfect word for My meaning. For sight can merely serve to offer you what you would have. Yes You got it; as in Science and Health.₂  For the ego mind sees what it believes as surely as it believes what it sees.₂ It is impossible to overlook what you would see and fail to see what you have chosen to behold. For the ego mindset absolutely rules You totally. You’ve not got ‘a mind of Your own’! Your mind is ruled by ego. How surely, therefore, must the real world come to greet the holy sight of anyone who takes the Holy Spirit’s purpose as his goal for seeing.  Think how different could be Your Vision.   And he cannot fail to look upon what Christ would have him see and share Christ’s love for what he looks upon. Just live that little willingness of which I ask for You; so diligently do.

 

² I have no purpose for today except to look upon a liberated world, set free from all the judgments I have made. To do this, what must I do, God, but ask of You, consistently: What is Truth here? – and heed Your answer. Father, this is Your Will for me today, – assiduously to listen to You – and therefore it must be my goal as well. For I am One, in harmony with You.

LESSON THREE HUNDRED-ELEVEN

I judge all things as I would have them be.

To suit my system: how I look at things. … That’s pretty gruesome! … And very selfish.  For it’s the epitome of ego.

¹ Judgment was made to be a weapon used against the truth. The Truth about Your Brother: that He is really One with You. How could You, then, be in competition? Yet You choose to judge a Part of Yourself. This is the whole foundation of the dream. It separates what it is being used against and sets it off as if it were a thing apart. And then it makes of it what you would have it be. What could it be but enemy to Me? It judges what it cannot understand because it cannot see totality and therefore judges falsely.  To see a Brother separate from Yourself and other Brothers is a choice to distort Reality quite dramatically for entertainment. What a vain and empty thing to do, and how very cruel. Let us not use it today but make a gift of it to Him Who has a different use for it. And You will see Your Brother now in a different Light, both whole and very holy. He will relieve you of the agony of all the judgments you have made against yourself and re-establish peace of mind by giving you God’s Judgment of His Son. When You see that One as Son, so will You see Yourself as One.

² Father, we wait with open mind today to hear Your Judgment of the Son You love. We wait in anticipation of a joy like no other. We do not know him, and we cannot judge. We learn instead how to see Our Brother through the lens of Love. To see with that Love, as We would be seen. And so we let Your Love decide what he whom You created as Your Son must be.

He – and that ‘He’ is We – must be like Thee. And that contents Me.

In fearlessness and love I spend today.

Wow, what a wondrous thought that is! A great possibility! What good could be accomplished with that mindset now leading Me! Remind Me often!

¹ This day, my Father, would I spend with You, as You have chosen all my days should be. Today I work to constantly be aware of You, which means I’ll make no decisions by Myself, and safety and peace and happiness will rule. And what I will experience is not of time at all. Peace and happiness cannot be confined. The joy that comes to me is not of days nor hours, for it comes from Heaven – which is timelessness, for it can have no limits put on Good – to Your Son. This day will be Your sweet reminder to remember You, (in all things I do)Your gracious calling to Your holy Son, the sign Your grace has come to me, and that it is Your Will that I be free today. Free from worry, discouragement, and fear. I’m freed by Your Love, filled with gratitude.

² We spend this day together, you and I. Grateful companions We will be today; as a duet of Love and gratitude, We do walk the world with this new mindset. And all the world joins with us in our song of thankfulness and joy to Him Who gave salvation to us, and Who set us free. We are restored to peace and holiness. There is no room in us for fear today, for we have welcomed love into our hearts. Minds rejoined with God can know only Love and Love’s Expression.

L e s s o n  309

I will not fear to look within today.

For the Bible promises the Truth of Me: that the holy Daughter of the King is all clean within₁ Her mind, without spot.₁  This is Truth too for the Son of the King. Glorious is He. And Truth too of You.

Although this seems not to be so – as I look around the world – I know this is true, for nightmares that I see are only dreams, which I have believed. Time to disbelieve them and go to God, asking for the Truth.

¹ Within me is eternal innocence – which literally means no harm forever: none comes to Me, and no harm I give – because it is God’s Will that it be there forever and forever. Christ’s promise is that God’s Good Will be done. I, His Son, whose will is limitless as is His own, can will no change in this. Why would I want to? For to deny my Father’s Will is to deny my own.  In Reality, a will always Good. I had forgotten that I’m Love’s Presence! To look within is but to find my will as God created it and as it is. I simply need to get still and listen. I fear to look within because I think I made another will which is not true and made it real.  This is ego-speak; I need not heed it! Yet it has no effects. Within me is the holiness of God. Within me is the memory of Him. And with Him is the memory of Me as the Son of God.

 

² The step I take today, my Father, is my sure release from idle dreams of sin. Where I remember Holiness is Mine. It is Your forever Gift to Me and to All My Others. Who could Love like You belovèd Father? Your depth and height are but Infinity. You are everything! Your altar stands serene and undefiled. It is the holy altar to my Self, and there I find my true identity, which comes straight from You – from Your Infinity, as rays  stream forever, from the sun. I rejoice in You.

This instant is the only time there is.

All there ever is – or ever can be – is Holy Instant: the most precious Now.

I will stay here, ever-present in this most Holy Instant, also known as: “Now.” Why am I repeating “Now”? So that You realize Your Holiness is always at hand, and quite available to You. Right Here and right Now.

¹ I have conceived of time in such a way that I defeat my aim. It keeps me victim and aggressor too, attacking My Self. Pure insanity. If I elect to reach past time to timelessness, I must change my perception of what time is for. Time’s purpose cannot be to keep the past and future one. Neither past nor future were before the separation, for there is only here and now. The only interval in which I can be saved from time is now. And it takes place here. In other words, step out of the dream that You may Awaken! Right here and right now. There is no-where and no-when else for it to happen. For in this instant has forgiveness come to set me free. As I will but to gladly be here now. The birth of Christ is now, without a past or future. He has come to give His present blessing to the world, restoring it to timelessness and love. And love is ever-present, here and now. For something to be ever-present, it must be here and now, so carpe diem₁ for it is full with overflowing Love. To God alone but belongs the moment. Each One is precious; be grateful for it.

² Thanks for this instant, Father. Let Me pause and stand in its blessing before the next one comes! It is now I am redeemed. It has to be; there’s no-when else. This can’t be stressed too much! It didn’t happen yesterday, nor will it occur tomorrow. This instant is the time You have appointed for Your Son’s release and for salvation of the world in him. Again: Carpe diem!

Conflicting wishes cannot be my will.

What could conflict with the Will of God? What else but grievances? This makes so very plain to Me the reason for forgiveness.  Now I understand its necessity.

¹ Father, Your Will is mine, and only that. How could I think to have a will apart from Yours, when You are the only Power.  How willful I was, and quite deluded. There is no other will for me to have. The claim that there is comes but from ego: a liar from its unreal start, and liar till it’s finished. Let me not try to make another will, for it is senseless and will cause me pain, which is always the result of ego. Your Will alone can bring me happiness, and only Yours exists. Therefore, God’s happiness must be the only Reality. If I would have what only You can give, and it’s the only Real that there can be, I must accept Your Will for me and enter into peace, which I desire more than anything, where conflict is impossible. In other words, Your Will must be only perfect harmony. What else could it be for You are perfect and You’re harmony! Your Son is one with You in being and in will, and nothing contradicts the holy truth that I remain as You created me. Thus, I’m perfect too. If I would see it, I must move into harmony with You.

² And with this prayer, we enter silently into a state of the sweetest grace, where conflict cannot come because we join our holy will with God’s in recognition that they are but one. This is coming Home: this happy state of harmony with God, won by forgiveness.

The gift of Christ is all I seek today.

I need to find His vision so I may Love All My Others. For this is but My function here, the only one I really have. All those other roles are pointless when compared with this Love.

¹ What but Christ’s vision – His kind, loving eyes – would I use today when it can offer me a day – one that is guaranteed to be quite extraordinary – in which I see a world so like to Heaven – so sweet and lovely – that an ancient memory returns to me? Across the seeming endless centuries, I hear Love call Me. Today I can forget the world I made. It’s a disaster! Thank God it’s not real! Watch it disappear. Today I can go past all fear and be restored to love and holiness and peace. Christ gives this to Me as soon as I allow Him to be Me. Today I am redeemed and born anew into a world of mercy – which is born of Love – and of care; of loving kindness and the peace of God. What will it be like? To have the awareness that there is not any need to fear. That is true freedom.

 

² And so, our Father, we return to You, – with such great relief! – remembering we never went away, remembering Your holy gifts to us is to remember Your Reality. In gratitude and thankfulness, so amazed We are at Our new freedom, fear is gone at last, we come, with empty hands and open hearts and minds, asking but what You give. Grateful, We receive. We cannot make an offering sufficient for Your Son. Feel Our gratitude! How can We express its great magnitude? It’s impossible! But in Your Love the gift of Christ is his. We’ll give You gratitude forever, for teaching Us forgiveness by Your Nature. Although You never have condemned, We still want to thank You Lord.

There is a peace that Christ bestows on us.

For Christ is Truth about You, that You too are the Son of God. I am not the only Christ there is, belovèd Sisters and belovèd Brothers. We All make up the Son, male or female, child or adult, every One’s the Son! The belovèd One.

¹ Who uses but Christ’s vision – sees through Eyes of Love – finds a peace so deep and quiet, – just those words themselves are so relaxing – undisturbable and wholly changeless that the world contains no counterpart. Will it shock You to hear I first felt this peace on the cross when I gave forgiveness? Now do You see what true forgiveness can do as well for You? Would You like such peace? Comparisons are still before this peace. And all the world departs in silence – becoming Heaven – as this peace envelops it and gently carries it to truth, no more to be the home of fear. For Love has come and healed the world by giving it Christ’s peace. Do You want this peace? For it’s Yours today, if You accept it.

² Father, the peace of Christ is given us because it is Your Will that we be saved. So He came as Jesus to teach how to really Love; yet We refused to learn. So He came once again, and now again. And He’ll keep coming till We learn to Love. Help us today but to accept Your gift – immediately! – and judge it not, thinking that it’s hard, oh so hard for Us to want to forgive. Help Us God of Love. Teach Us Your good ways. Free Us from grievance that We may forgive. For it has come to us to save us from our judgment on ourselves. We cannot judge another without including self as well. That’s the way it is.

Let not my world obscure the sight of Christ.

This world was made to hide Reality, to obfuscate It. Yes, indeed, it is a perfect word to describe Your dreams₁ piled over God’s Reality, done deliberately to hide It.

Make no mistake about this: the world is most assuredly an attack on God. Will You continue to partake in it, as You lie more than “half in Love with (dreams) of easeful death”? (Your escape from dreams.)

There is no death! God wills but Life for You! Will You accept It today, or go back to idle dreaming? Choice is always Yours!

¹ I can obscure my holy sight if I intrude my world upon it. My determined dreaming surely hides Reality from Me! Nor can I behold the holy sights Christ looks upon unless it is His vision that I use. Here, again, the choice must be always mine. Perception is a mirror, not a fact. It reflects My thoughts, not Reality. And what I look on is my state of mind reflected outward. And look how effectively it hides Reality from Me! It’s quite impressive; so thinks the ego! I would bless the world by looking on it through the eyes of Christ. Through His eyes may I see Reality, most assuredly! And I will look upon the certain signs that all my sins have been forgiven me. Nothing left to fear. Love does surround Me. I am Love Itself with all the Sonship. Love is What is Real.

 

² You lead me from the darkness to the light, from sin to holiness. From ego nightmares to Reality.  Let me forgive all these painful dreams making up ‘the world’ and thus receive salvation for the world. For minds are joined, so My forgiveness does become My Brothers’ and My Sisters’ too. It is Your gift, my Father, given me – to, so willingly – to offer to Your holy Son that he may find again the memory of You and of Your Son as You created him. We can remember and Awaken! How about right now?

The holy Christ is born in me today.

My Real Self is re-emerging as I dismiss the ego. How happy am I! I’d forgotten joy so completely, and to remember it again is Heaven!

¹ Watch with me, angels; and keep Me so safe; watch with me today. I Love that You’re here, and You never leave Me; for You stay with Me, holy Ones, both now and forever. How grateful I am! Let all God’s holy Thoughts surround me – a calm ocean of gentle consciousness with soft waves of Love bearing Me up and onward to Heaven, My own experience of Knowing God – and be still with me while Heaven’s Son is born. Let earthly sounds be quiet – still the dreams; let Awakening appear – and the sights to which I am accustomed disappear, as Heaven rises. Let Christ be welcomed where He is at home, – His Home is Heaven; Who is S/He but Me – and let Him hear the sounds He understands – with Love’s eternal words God calls to Me; let Me now listen – and see but sights which show His Father’s Love. My own happiness, outpictured, illuminating Heaven. Let Me now will to see Love everywhere! Let Him no longer be a stranger here, for He is born again in me today. Christ be Me today, and for forever! This is My one prayer.

 

² Your Son is welcome, Father. As well He should be for S/He is but Me, My Reality. He has come to save me from the evil self I made. Christ is truly Me, and not the ego, which never really was My self at all. He is the Self that You have given me. The Self which You made Me to really Be. Again: not ego! He is but what I really am in truth. This belovèd Self. He is the Son You love above all things. He is my Self as You created me: I am an Eternal Individuality of God. It is not Christ that can be crucified. Only the ego. Into Your world let me receive Your Son. Wonderful! The world of Reality! What a great relief it is to Waken.

Where darkness was, I look upon the light.

For I may see with eyes of Christ, and not eyes of the ego.

¹ Father, our eyes are opening at last. We’ve been asleep so very, very long that  We’ve so long forgotten how good it feels to be Awake. Our eyes are open! Your holy world awaits us, as our sight is finally restored and we can see. And how very beautiful Reality does look to Me. We thought we suffered. What an awful dream this has been for, oh, so many eons. But we had forgot the Son whom You created. This would be, i.e. Our Reality. Now we see that darkness is our own imagining and light is there for us to look upon. Here for Us to see, if We will to be just like Christ, like Thee, belovèd Father; All in All to Me. Christ’s vision changes darkness into light, for fear must disappear when love has come. Love reigns over All. Let me forgive Your holy world today – the one I thought real was home to ego, not the Son of God – that I may look upon its holiness and understand it but reflects my own. For I am – along with All My Brothers – God’s Holy Presence, in the place where I saw only ego. Now would I see the Son of God, and only He, Be-ing not only Me, but We.

 

² Our Love awaits us as we go to Him and walks beside us, – for It lives as Us – showing us the way.  He fails in nothing. He surely is infallible in Good. He the end we seek, – Our new Beginning – and He the means by which we come to Him. Let Us not tarry!

And God Himself shall wipe away all tears.

What an awesome and terrific promise! Who could ask for more? … (only the ego, when playing victim) … The Son of God, however, always chooses to be happy. That’s why S/He’s the Son, God’s belovèd One; S/He’s just like Her Source.

¹ Father, unless I judge I cannot weep. And I can say this piously, or even with a saintly air round about Me. And to believe ir – and more, to live it – is a horse of quite another colour! Nor can I suffer pain or feel I am abandoned and unneeded in the world. Feelings common to believing egos. This is my home because I judge it not. And therefore is it only what You will. And I must learn to see it through Your eyes. Let me today behold it uncondemned through happy eyes forgiveness has released from all distortion. A brand-new mindset! Let me see Your world instead of mine. I would have Your Vision, not the ego’s. And all the tears I shed will be forgotten, for their source is gone. Father, I will not judge Your world today. Which means I must not view it on My own; but, rather, I’ll see it together with the Holy Spirit.

 

² God’s world is happy.  Seen through His lens of peace and happiness, the world no longer writhes in misery. Those who look on it – with Holy Vision, through the lens of God’s most Holy Spirit – can only add their joy to it and bless it as a cause of further joy in them. Bringing Us very near to Coming Home. We wept because we did not understand. We thought dreams were real. But we have learned the world we saw was false, –ugly figment of imagination; – and we will look upon God’s world today. With hearts so very gladdened.

Only an instant does this world endure.

How can this be? It seems like an eternity I have been trapped in this dreaming. What will set Me free?

Trust Your Elder Brother; the Truth now is Be-ing spoken here despite the seeming.

Trust not the experience of dreaming. None of it is real.

 

¹ This is the thought that can be used to say that death and sorrow are the certain lot of all who come here. There’s nothing lasting, for You are dreaming! All things are fleeting. For their joys are gone before they are possessed, or even grasped. The impermanence of unreality is always the nature of the dream. Yet this is also the idea that lets no false perception keep us in its hold nor represent more than a passing cloud upon a sky eternally serene. Dreamers give the dream all the so-called reality of it. It seems real because You believe in it. Why not turn to God and find there real peace? And it is this serenity we seek, unclouded, obvious, and sure today. God always is sweet peacefulness itself.

 

² We seek Your holy world today. Only God’s Reality is lasting. For we, Your loving Sons, have lost our way a while. (An understatement!) But we have listened to Your Voice and learned exactly what to do to be restored to Heaven and our true identity. How relieved We are to get such a loving gift of welcome. And we give thanks today the world endures but for an instant. It can be gone when We will it to go. We would go beyond that tiny instant to eternity. It waits so patiently for Our return! Let Us delay no longer but run Home! Heaven awaits Us, available not by death but by joyous willingness to change Our minds and oh, so gladly choose It!

Eternal holiness abides in me.

The Holiness of God lives in Me, as Me.  For actually, there is no Me apart from Holiness.  And so, I must also be Eternal.

¹ My holiness is far beyond my own ability to understand or know. For it is the Holiness of God Be-ing expressed as Me, And It is My very sum and substance and My embodiment; the “stuff” I’m made of.  It is the Substance of the Universe as well. Yet God my Father, Who created it, acknowledges my holiness as His. And one day, someday soon, the experience of Holiness will be Mine again. Our Will together understands it. And our Will together knows that it is so.  Together is the key, for I’m nothing holy without Thee.

² Father, my holiness is not of me.  (separated ego) Because Your Holiness is What You are as You’re Be-ing Me. It is not mine to be destroyed by sin. It is not mine to suffer from attack. It is in no way external to Me, but, rather, It is intrinsic, My very Substance. illusions can obscure it but cannot put out its radiance nor dim its light. It stands forever perfect and untouched. The Real Me of God, holy, heavenly. In it are all things healed, for they remain as You created them. The only healing needed is of the mind hell bent on dreaming, and it has a hell created in its dreams!  Yet only in its dreams, and not as Reality! And I can know my holiness. For Holiness Itself – the Presence-ing of God as Every One – created me, – and All My Brothers – and I can know my Source because it is Your Will that You be known.

You are not a God far off, but a God at hand. Closer to Us All than breathing.  Ever-present, ever-ready Saviour for All Creation, All Your constantly occurring holy Revelation.  Each One of Us as Your belovèd Son is loved as if We were the only One!

I love You, Father, and I love Your Son.

Truly there is but One; We are part of a stupendous Whole. Each One of Us the individual Expression of It. Despite grim pictures of the dream, only Good is ever real: ‘evil’ can be but insane delusion.

Through Love We seek Truth, and through God’s Love We will surely find It.

¹ My gratitude permits my love to be accepted without fear. Those Who are grateful are sure to be gentle with all Others, for They treasure All. This kind of Love leads to Awakening. And thus am I restored to my Reality at last. Leaving dreams behind, and refusing to dwell in illusions. All that intruded on my holy sight forgiveness takes away. I wish to see only Reality.Thanks to God, I will! And I draw near the end of senseless journeys, mad careers, and artificial values. Components only found in dreaming, without any value but to the ego. And I would free Myself from ego rules! I accept instead what God establishes as mine, – laws of Love prevail! – sure that in that alone I will be saved, sure that I go through fear to meet my Love. For Love is but the antidote to fear; the sweetest remedy there is for pain.

 

² Father, I come to You today, – You, alone, My choice! – because I would not follow any way but Yours. All other thoughts lead Me straightway to hell; and I seek Heaven! You are beside me. My dear Belovèd; Certain is Your way. I will not stumble! Glad am I to be companioned by You. And I am grateful for Your holy gifts of certain sanctuary – I can always be with You, for You are closer than My breath – and escape from everything – a.k.a. ego – that would obscure my love for God, my Father, and His holy Son, My Self, My Others.

Forgiveness is the only gift I give.

It is the only thing I have to give. All else comes from God.

¹ Forgiveness is the only gift I give because it is the only gift I want, and everything I give I give myself. It is the one good thing that doesn’t come from God for He knows all things as perfect. This is salvation’s simple formula. What does it ­­­­mean that everything I give becomes My own gifts? We spoke of this before, and You said to give a gift means You already have it! That makes sense to Me: if I want something, I need to give it. And I, who would be saved, would make it mine to be the way I live within a world that needs salvation and that will be saved as I accept Atonement for myself. My willingness to give salvation to My Brothers saves Me.

How sweet and simple: Give what You would get. For You must have it ere You can give it.

² Father, how certain are Your ways, – filled with Love they are – how sure their outcome, and how truly faithful is every step in my salvation set already and accomplished by Your grace. How much You Love Us! It is amazing; an unending source of Our gratitude. Thanks be to You for Your eternal gifts, and thanks to You for my identity. You source all happiness for Me, now and for Eternity.

The Holy Spirit speaks through me today.

How glad I am to give My voice to Her today that She may speak God’s words of Love to All My Others. How very grateful I am for the chance to share the Holy Spirit’s words of Love! My heart overflows with happiness that I may give this gift.

Thank You God, for this opportunity!

 

¹ The Holy Spirit needs my voice today, – for those who know not that S/He speaks to them as well as to Me – that all the world may listen to Your Voice and hear Your Word through me. What a privilege it is to give My Others holy gifts. Each gift I give comes back to Me – I must say – bountifully! I am resolved to let You speak through me, (replacing ego!) for I would use no words but Yours – compared to You, I am slow of speech and say this with Moses: ^“O my Lord, I am not eloquent: … but I am slow of speech, and of a slow tongue” – and have no thoughts which are apart from Yours, for only Yours are true. I would be savior to the world I made. As I must take responsibility; For having damned it, I would set it free that I may find escape and hear the Word Your holy Voice will speak to me today. For I can’t be freed from the dream alone, without My Others. For We’re All in this strange dream together.

 

² We teach today what we would learn and that alone. This keeps mind pure and lovingly and happily on target; for Our goal is Love. This, the aim of every single Lesson. And so our learning goal becomes an unconflicted one – Love the balance beam We keep walking on, through both storm and calm – and possible of easy reach and quick accomplishment. Even the simplest actions done with God become quite holy. How gladly does the Holy Spirit – which is the sweet Truth of each One of Us – come to rescue us from hell – O blessèd relief! – when we allow His teaching to persuade the world through us to seek and find the easy path to God! In following the Holy Spirit, so may We be example to Our Brothers.

The Holy Spirit looks through me today.

It looks through My eyes and thinks through My mind. And S/He tells Me I am so very, very useful to Her. And, indeed I am; for I would do nothing other than Holy Spirit’s bidding.

¹ Christ asks that He may use my eyes today and thus redeem the world which is – right now – taking place in My mind: the location of Reality and unreality. He says to Me to be cognizant of all of My beliefs. The mind holds all things that are fed to it; so feed it wisely. I have not done so, so Christ has come to teach Me by borrowing the eyes that I use to feed My mind. He asks this gift that He may offer peace of mind to me and take away all terror and all pain. Which sounds good to Me! And as they are removed from me, the dreams that seemed to settle on the world are gone. There is but One Mind. Redemption must be one. As I am saved, the world is saved with me. For all of us must be redeemed together. How could I come Home and leave My Brother? Fear appears in many different forms, but love is one. Fear does separate, while Love does unite.

² My Father, Christ has asked a gift of me, and one I give that it be given me. He has asked of Me that I see as He, with the Eyes of Love. Help me to use the eyes of Christ today – to Love My Brothers – and thus allow the Holy Spirit’s Love to bless all things that I may look upon, ever so gently, that His forgiving Love may rest on me that I may most willingly extend It to All My Brothers.

My body is a wholly neutral thing.

Obeying but the mind’s commands to it; commands to which it hearkens and then yields.

 

¹ I am a Son of God. What God is, I am; and God being surely not a body must then be consciousness, thus unlimited, and not a body. This We will repeat until You get it. And can I be another thing as well? If I were a body, it would not come from God, but ego. Did God create the mortal and corruptible? How could He when He is Spirit₁ and could not create what is unlike His Nature? What use has God’s beloved Son for what must die? Absolutely none! And yet a neutral thing does not see death, for thoughts of fear are not invested there, nor is a mockery of love bestowed upon it. Its neutrality protects it while it has a use.  So even in the dream of body, One need not succumb to that very strange and superstitious myth of so-called ‘dying’. But rather You can learn to understand that All is Spirit; and live with joy as that understanding. And afterwards, – when everything is clear to You, and You thus no longer think to need a body – without a purpose, it is laid aside. It is not sick or old or hurt. It is but functionless, unneeded and cast off. You have realized that You are Spirit! And without the body You are quite free, and by Your mind, You’re still identified. Let me not see it more than this today—of service for a while and fit to serve, to keep its usefulness while it can serve, and then to be replaced for greater good. And none of this pertains to ‘dying’; this must be understood!

 

² My body, Father, cannot be Your Son. For You are not a body, Be-ing Infinite! And Infinity is – must be – Spirit! And what is not created cannot be sinful or sinless, neither good nor bad. It is – must be – part of Eternity; yet not at all as We now perceive it. Let me, then, use this dream to help Your plan that we awaken from all dreams we made. If We were not within dreams, We’d have no need to Awaken.

All fear is past and only love is here.

How can I say all fear is past and only Love is present, when the dream is getting worse with each moment that is passing? It’s very easy: I’m not in the dream! And I know that it’s totally unreal.

 

What is it that has always differentiated Me from My Brothers: the fact that I am Awake. Yet I would not just leave You to suffer for We are Brothers! And I know that truly You are just like Me, and I long for You to know that too.

¹ All fear is past because its source is gone – when You no longer believe in anger – and all its thoughts gone with it. Once You ditch anger, Love remains the only present state, whose Source is here forever and forever. This Love is all things and omnipresent. Can the world seem bright and clear and safe and welcoming with all my past mistakes oppressing it and showing me distorted forms of pain? I must let go of all these lying dreams, for they were not real. They were lacking Love. Yet in the present, love is obvious and its effects apparent. I just couldn’t see the Good while dreaming. Love has woken Me! All the world shines in reflection of its holy light, and I perceive a world forgiven at last. And what has changed is but My perception!

² Father, let not Your holy world escape my sight today. For I will to see, instead of being inward blind to You. Nor let my ears be deaf to all the hymns of gratitude the world – the One that’s closer to Reality – is singing underneath the sounds of fear, which come from hearts that refuse to forgive. There is a real world which the present holds safe from all past mistakes. It is not accessed by living in the past of unforgiveness, but by coming into present Love. And I would see only this world – and its holy Love – before my eyes today, and here find My peace.

A happy outcome to all things is sure.

Trust My words belovèd Brothers and belovèd Sisters, for God is Love, and You are precious to Him. Of this fact You can be forever sure! Leaning into God, You are loved and safe.

¹ God’s promises make no exceptions. Each One included, especially You! 1And He guarantees that only joy can be the final outcome found for everything. You read that right, I did say “only joy”. Yet it is up to us when this is reached—how long we let an alien will – known as the ego – appear to be opposing His. Pay attention to this word “appear”, for it is crucial. God cannot really be opposed. Only arrogance could think that. And while we think this will is real, – We foolishly believe in the ego – we will not find the end He has appointed as the outcome of all problems we perceive, all trials we see, and every situation that we meet. We will feel ourselves without solution. Yet is the ending certain. (God Be-ing supreme.) For God’s Will is done in earth and Heaven. (And His Will is right.) We will seek and we will find according to His Will, which guarantees that our will is done.  For this, We are willing to be Guided.  Since We cannot find the way Home Ourselves, We must turn to God, and turn We gladly!

 

² We thank You, Father, for Your guarantee of only happy outcomes in the end. How much You Love Us! My heart fills with joy! Help us not interfere and so delay the happy endings  You have promised us for every problem that we can perceive, for every trial we think we still must meet. In other words, trust totally in God in every possible situation! I won’t be disappointed. He is faithful Who hath promised!₁

This is a day of stillness and of peace.

Would that every day were just like this, for in the quiet, the Voice of God is heard through Holy Spirit.

¹ Christ’s vision looks through me today. My eyes become His, for they truly are. And His Vision is gently altering My mind so I may learn to see as He. O joyous, gladsome possibility! His sight shows me all things forgiven – as He does see them – and at peace and offers this same vision to the world. So sweet, and so quiet, and so peaceful. Gentle loveliness, capturing My heart. Its sweet stillness, does fill My ears with Love. And I accept this vision in its name, both for myself and for the world as well. The stillness is feeling which has somehow become visible. What loveliness we look upon today! Gratitude welling up, does over-flow, and becomes the Psalmist’s “cup running over”₁ bathing everyOne with holy Love. What holiness we see surrounding us! What gentle kindness. And it is given us to recognize it is a holiness in which we share; it is the Holiness of God Himself. For We All are Part of God, and, yes, therefore, very holy.

² This day my mind is quiet to receive the Thoughts You offer me. How gently are they clearing out the specious thoughts of ego. How kind Your plan for Us belovèd God. And how grateful I am to receive itt. And I accept what comes from You instead of from myself. You are My Right Mind. And with that Mind do I gladly – gratefully! – listen to You. I do not know the way to You. I believed that I would have to find My way Home alone; and I was mistaken. But You are wholly certain. No mistakes with You! Father, lead Your Son along the quiet path that ends in You, and opens wide and joyously, revealing Eternity. Let my forgiveness be complete, – I’m here to give Love – and let the memory of You return to me. For You are Love’s Source!

My present happiness is all I see.

And what a Vision! How wonderful to not see misery. How greatly freeing: free to be happy.

All I need do is surrender dreaming. How do I give it up but by forgiveness? For grievances are only dreams, Reality, only Love.

¹ Unless I look upon what is not there, – all misery being a delusion – my present happiness is all I see. If it isn’t Good, then it isn’t real. That’s very simple! Eyes that begin to open see at last. The view is lovely! And I would have Christ’s vision come to me this very day. I don’t need to wait one second longer! What I perceive without God’s own correction for the sight I made is frightening and painful to behold. It is agony to believe in dreams. Yet I would not allow my mind to be deceived by the belief the dream I made is real an instant longer. It is possible to stop this dreaming! This the day I seek my present happiness and look on nothing else except the thing I seek. Yet I know I cannot accomplish this alone. For it is alone that is the cause of the problem!

 

² With this resolve, I come to You and ask Your strength to hold me up today while I but do Your Will. You cannot fail to hear me, Father. You Who are forever attentive to Your belovèd Son. What I ask have You already given me, – I need but to do one thing: accept it! – and I am sure that I will see my happiness today. It is that simple!

The past is over. It can touch me not.

It never happened anyway, since I live in ego dreams. Why not let it go? That’s a great idea, easier said than done with ego! Please help Me, for I can’t do it alone. How grateful I am You’re always with Me.

¹ Unless the past is over in my mind, the real world must escape my sight. I cannot jointly see two opposing views, One real, one not. For I am really looking nowhere, seeing but what is not there. And what is not there is so convincing! How can I then perceive the world forgiveness offers? And begin to recall Reality, Love’s Reality. This ­­­­the past was made ­­to hide, for this the world that can be looked on only now. It has no past. To find it, I must now let all dreams go. For what can be forgiven but the past, and if it is forgiven, it is gone. Ego memory lives on only in grudges and regrets.

 

² Father, let me not look upon a past that is not there. A past of grievances and nightmares, and underlaid by fear. For You have offered me Your own replacement in a present world the past has left untouched and free of sin. A possibility of something happy, so much better than dreams that frighten. Here is the end of guilt. And here am I made ready for Your final step. I could accept it. I could do it now! This very instant. Shall I demand that You wait longer for Your Son to find the loveliness You planned to be the end of all his dreams and all his pain? Or shall I yield to Your gentle Love, accept Your offer to embrace forgiveness?

Let me forget my brother’s past today.

To forget My Brother’s past is hard. All the wrongs He did Me, and not even once did He say “Sorry.” Who could forgive someone like that? Stop saying I could! Why? Because I don’t want to! I’m not that holy.

Of course I want happiness and peace, so I try not to think of Him, nor of all the other Brothers who have done Me wrong. It just isn’t fair! … Okay, I’ll stop complaining for a little while and listen to what the Holy Spirit has to say since S/He’s the real Me.

¹ This is the thought that leads the way to You and brings me to my goal. I must see My Brother’s face as if I’d seen the face of God, for I really have. I cannot come to You without my brother. For He’s part of Me. And to know my Source, I first must recognize what You created one with me. My brother’s is the hand that leads me on the way to You. It’s not that He is holier than I; it’s that We’re equal. For God has just One Son Who’s Infinite. I am One, and My Brother is One too. His sins are in the past along with mine. For Our eyes are too pure to see evil.₁ And I am saved because the past is gone. We cannot take the past along with Us to living Heaven. Let me not cherish it within my heart or I will lose the way to walk to You. For that Way is Love. My brother is my savior. For through forgiving Him, I let go of the dream forever. Let me not attack the savior You have given me. But let me honor him who bears Your Name – Holy One of God – and so remember that It is my own. I, too, am Holy. When I choose to Love My Brother, that’s when I remember God.

 

² Forgive me, then, today. For I’m not ‘special’. Forgive as Me today, for no-One dreaming has a clue of what They do, for thought is quite reactive. This is why I came back into the dream. So please heed My words. And you will know you have forgiven me if you behold your brother in the light of holiness. You have learned to Love. He cannot be less holy than can I, and you cannot be holier than he. God has but One Son, and that Son is One.

You are my goal, my Father. Only You.

For not knowing You, I have nothing lasting, and certainly no thing eternal.

All things of the dream are but sleeping fantasies. And even though We call them Our reality, they’re ever so ephemeral, leaving Us with but fading memories, like old photographs. Where is the glory of Our great God in these pictures?

¹ Where would I go but Heaven? Let Me turn from the dream to God right now! There is found My joy! What could be a substitute for happiness? There is but nothing! I choose but happiness right this minute! What gift could I prefer before the peace of God? How insane was I to think that there could be something better! What treasure would I seek and find and keep that can compare with my identity as the Son of God? And would I rather live with fear than love? (As I’ve been doing.)

 

² You are my goal, my Father. My priority. What but You could I desire to have? Things of the world and all My goals no longer seem appealing, as Your Light fills My mind, Your Love, My heart. What way but that which leads to You could I desire to walk? I want You now as My experience! And what except the memory of You could signify to me the end of dreams and futile substitutions for the truth? Let Me right now start to ignore the ego as I listen for Your Loving Voice. You are my only goal. The others mattered only to the dream, while You are but My one Reality. Your Son would be as You created him. I long to Presence You, My dear and holy Father-Mother. What way but this could I expect to recognize my Self and be at one with my Identity? I must know My Source to know What I am.

The hush of Heaven holds my heart today.

gently in its Love, quietly embraced.

¹ Father, how still today! No more frenetic demands and upsets. Everything is calm. How quietly do all things fall in place! With sweet, simple, and surprising order. This is the day that has been chosen as the time in which I come to understand the lesson that there is no need that I do anything. For only the ego is a doer. In You is every choice already made. In You has every conflict been resolved. In You is everything I hope to find already given me. Your peace is mine. My heart is quiet and my mind at rest. Your Love is Heaven, and Your Love is mine. The Experience of Your Love is so exquisite and so peaceful. I had forgotten what it is to be this happy. And happy I am!

² The stillness of today will give us hope that we have found the way and travelled far along it to a wholly certain goal. In the quiet We hear God’s assurance. Today we will not doubt the end which God Himself has promised us. An end which is more like a beginning! We trust in Him – the most trustworthy – and in our Self, – trusted equally – Who still is one with Him. And in this lovely trust, I begin to remember Oneness.

My holiness shines bright and clear today.

It outshines the sun. God is the only Light that’s greater than Mine. This is True too of All My Others. We All shine as One.

 

¹ Today I wake with joy, expecting but the happy things of God to come to me. For God has only Good in store for Me! I ask but them to come and realize my invitation will be answered by the thoughts to which it has been sent by me. For everything is thought, and, thus, all things respond to thinking. And I will ask for only joyous things the instant I accept my holiness. Which means I must be very loved by God. For what would be the use of pain to me, – what use has it been? absolutely none! – what purpose would my suffering fulfill, and how would grief and loss avail me, if insanity departs from me today and I accept my holiness instead? What have I been thinking but just like the philanderer who – when caught out – says to His wife: “You wouldn’t leave a dying man, now would You?” I had forgotten God’s great loving forgiveness.

 

² Father, my holiness is Yours. I flow forth from You, like light from the sun. We’ll never ever be separated! Let me rejoice in it – that I am holy – and through forgiveness be restored to sanity. Holding grudges really is insane for this is but a dream. Albeit, it’s extremely convincing! I won’t believe it! Your Son is still as You created him. Perfect just like You. My holiness is part of me and also part of You. And what can alter Holiness Itself? It is perfect and Eternal, and the Truth of You and Me. What You are, I am.

I can elect to change all thoughts that hurt.

After all, it is my own mind, and I am in charge of it, and not the ego. Thus I can take charge of My own thinking and make it happy.

¹ Loss is not loss when properly perceived. For loss of worldly things and ways is thus to lose nothing but unreality. Pain is impossible, since God is but Good. There is no grief with any cause at all. Pain and grief just cannot be known to God. And suffering of any kind is nothing but a dream. All suffering is an invention only of the ego. Such is the truth—at first to be but said and then repeated many times and next to be accepted as but partly true with many reservations. Then to be considered seriously more and more, and finally accepted as the truth. Of course this Truth could be accepted instantly, even now, if You are willing. I can elect to change all thoughts that hurt. Toss them in the trash, and don’t retrieve them!  And I would go beyond these words today, go past all reservations, and arrive at full acceptance of the truth in them. I can change My mind at any instant. Why not do it now!

 

² Father, what You have given cannot hurt, – You give only Good – and grief and pain must be impossible. Therefore, they must be imaginations. Let me not fail to trust in You today, – and not the ego – accepting but the joyous as Your gifts, accepting but the joyous as the truth. This great happiness is ever-present; seen as soon as I dismiss the ego!

My true Identity abides in You.

For there is – there can be – no separation between God and His very Presence: We, the Sons – His belovèd Ones – of God.

We flow from God, like Light flows from the Sun. And just as the Light never leaves Its Source, yet keeps on flowing, for It is unlimited, just so are We, never leaving God; and yet We have no limits to Our Love, nor to Our Life.

We can always disregard the ego. In fact, We can discard the ego, replacing it with God, Who is Our true Source and Our Belovèd.

¹ Father, I made an image of myself, – in My little sense of mind that We have been calling the ego – and it is this I call the Son of God. (A far cry from Truth!) Yet is creation as it always was, for Your creation is unchangeable. It is just My Vision that has been skewed; not Reality, which remains the same. Let me not worship idols. I am He my Father loves. Who’s more loved than I? It’s so amazing! His holiness remains the light of Heaven and the Love of God. Here You speak of Me; I say but one thing: It’s so amazing! Is not what is beloved of You secure? Is not the light of Heaven infinite? Just as the Light is, I am everywhere! Is not Your Son my true Identity, when You created everything that is? This must be Truth and I am mind-boggled!

² Now are we one in shared identity, –Each of Us, God’s Son: We All make One – with God our Father as our only Source and everything created part of us. No need for two to have Creation: it is done with a word. And so we offer blessing to all things, – for everything surely is Part of Us –  uniting lovingly with all the world, which our forgiveness has made one with us. For forgiveness ends all separation!

I will not be afraid of love today.

To give to My Others without any fear of rejection. To Love, and Love again, and then go on to Love even more! The more I Love, the happier I am.

¹ If I could realize but this today, salvation would be reached for all the world. Since minds are joined, inextricably, Our thoughts assuredly affect each Other, so watch Your thinking! This the decision not to be insane and to accept myself as God Himself, my Father and my Source, created me. Assuredly, Love heals insanity. We can trust but in Love, for Love is God and very Holy. It flows out from Us like the sun; Love’s warmth blesses every One. Therefore, I choose Love, instead of fear and hatred, when I need to be in the world to bless My Brothers. So it has been greatly said: “Love Your enemies; bless those that curse You.” ₁ “I will Love if another hates.”₂ This the determination not to be asleep in dreams of death – the whole human dream, product of ego – while truth remains forever living in the joy of life. This is My right – and the right of All My Brothers – to be not just happy, but to be very happy. And this the choice – necessary choice – to recognize the Self Whom God created as the Son He loves and Who remains my one Reality. Remind Yourself many times a day: ‘I am God’s Son, His belovèd One, along with All My Others. Truth for Me must be Truth for My Brothers.’

Thus are You safe from sin, disease and dying, as You live these words. To make the choice for Love, is to choose Life.₃  

² Father, Your Name is Love, and so is mine. For I am Your Son, Your belovèd One, in whom You are pleased, when I Love, really Love like Jesus does.₄  Such is the truth. Loving Truth of God. And can the truth be changed by merely giving it another name? The name of fear is simply a mistake. Let me not be afraid of truth today. I am reminded once again that fear is but False Evidence Appearing Real. I will not be fooled!

I can be hurt by nothing but my thoughts.

This stands to reason when I realize that this is a Universe of thinking. In other words, one of consciousness alone, not of ‘matter’. This is contrary to ego beliefs, all based on body.

However, It – and You as well – will continue to be experienced as ‘stuff’, so-called ‘matter’, until You change Your mind! Why not do it now!

¹ Father, Your Son is perfect. Because He is Yours! When he thinks that he is hurt in any way, it is because he has forgotten who he is: Son of God; Son of Spirit, Son of Life and Love and Beauty. And that he is as You created him. For You are all those things, and so many more, dear belovèd Father-Mother God. Your Thoughts can only bring me happiness. You are Joy Itself! There is no happiness apart from You; only the frenetic energy of ego, demanding to have its own way. If ever I am sad or hurt or ill, I have forgotten what You think and put my little, meaningless ideas in place of where Your Thoughts belong and where They are. Contrary to all errors, Your Holy Thoughts do heal all things. Sing hallelujah! I can be hurt by nothing but my thoughts. That is, when I think alone without My Source; because they’re not Yours dear belovèd Father of Us All. When I have allowed You to be My Mind (which You really are: The Thoughts I think with You can only bless. The Thoughts I think with You alone are true. Thoughts must come from God or from the ego. So I must be very discerning and make sure which is which.

² I will not hurt myself today by listening to the ego, but will replace it with God. That brings Me freedom. For I am far beyond all pain. .Life with God is Peace, yet never boring. My Father placed me safe in Heaven, and that is My Home, safe and happy, for He is forever watching over me. And I would not attack the Son He loves, – neither Myself or another Brother – for what He loves is mine to love as well. All things loved by God must have great value.

What limits can I lay upon God’s Son?

Nothing is more limiting than the mindset of the ego.

¹ Whom God created limitless is free. All Creation – including Me and All My Brothers – is unlimited as God. I can invent imprisonment for him, – the most egregious one being the body – but only in illusions, not in truth. No Thought of God has left its Father’s Mind. No Thought of God is limited at all. And I am a Thought of God this instant, and not a body. For all Things are Mind: i.e. consciousness! There is no matter. Thank God for that Truth! No Thought of God but is forever pure. Can I lay limits on the Son of God, whose Father willed that he be limitless and like Himself in freedom and in love? I think I have, but only in My dream.

² Today let me give honor to Your Son, – and that includes Me – for thus alone I find the way to You. I must Love Your Son for He’s part of You. Father, I lay no limits on the Son – And I am that Son – You love and You created limitless. What does it mean to be unlimited? I don’t remember. It’s been so long I have been this ego, a state which is completely limited. Let Me choose again to see and be the Son of God first right here, then everywhere! The honor that I give to him is Yours, and what is Yours belongs to me as well. And to My Brothers, for the Son of God receives all Good from His Father
