LESSON TWO HUNDRED-TWENTY-SIX

My home awaits me. I will hasten there.

Yet is it right at hand, the journey without distance, a movement of My mind off ‘me’ and on to God.

¹ If I so choose, I can depart this world entirely. For it is but a figment of Our collective vivid imaginations; totally devoid of God’s Reality, for it but rests on non-existent matter and not on Mind. All is consciousness. It is not death which makes this possible, – for only ‘matter’ seems to ‘‘die’ – but it is change of mind about the purpose of the world, and of its substance. You could know Spirit now, without ‘dying’. Spirit is Eternal, ever-present. You’re ignoring It quite deliberately! Thus, You appear to be ignorant of Spirit as Your Substance, right here, right now. If I believe it has a value as I see it now, so will it still remain for me. For I am completely ruled by My beliefs, and victim to them! But if I see no value in the world as I behold it, – through My deliberate, imaginary misperceptions – nothing that I want to keep as mine or search for as a goal, – things like pain, suffering, and misery, those ‘gifts’ of the world in which I wholeheartedly believe – it (world experience) will depart from me. For I have not sought for illusions to replace the truth. My will is Heaven, here and now; there is no need for ‘dying’. God knows only Life, and I’m His Presence, just as the rays are presence-ing the sun.

² Father, my home awaits my glad return. The robe and sandals of the Prodigal are Mine.₁ Your arms are open, and I hear Your Voice. The party cannot start until I arrive! Nor can the guests rejoice without My Presence, for I am the guest of honour! What need have I to linger in a place of vain desires and of broken dreams – why put joy on hold, why linger in hell – when Heaven can so easily be mine? Belovèd Brothers, let Us All go Home together. The journey has no distance. Let Us All open up Our minds to Heaven, for here It is! Right here and right now!
